Personnel were friendly and helpful. Room was ok but for 7 nights we had toilet issues for 6 of them. Only given 2 clean towels at a time and no wash cloths. However when asked the staff provided small towels (no wash cloths) could not use the bathtub to soak in because the plug didn't work properly. The price for the room reflected on the hotel. You get what you pay for. $37.00 per night. It was nice to be able to cook for my new husband :) <3

I had a truly memorable and delightful stay at Appart’Hotel Villamar. I highly recommend it for its great location, relaxing atmosphere, and above all, the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. A special thanks to Mr. Wassim Lengliz, the manager, who was always available and attentive to our needs. His dedication made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for everything!

We stayed during October half term, Hammamet was quite quiet which was great for our family with 2 small kids. We rented a 3 bedroom villa with a terrace by the pool. Lovely an spacious, air con in the bedrooms and living room, but the bathrooms were a bit tired and could do with re-decorating. The villa overall was a decent 3 star standard, basic but clean and large.||||The outside area was very pretty, with an excellently maintained garden, good size clean pool and adjacent baby pool (not a hot tub!!). Staff were very friendly and helpful, and some spoke english. The hotel restaurant was of a good standard and well priced, and the staff were more than happy to bring meals to the villa as we had the kids in bed.||||There is one major problem though, about 100m away is a large open-air night club which starts at midnight and goes full blast until 4am!! There's very little the hotel can do about it, all the rooms and villas are affected. We found if we put the air con on in every room on maximum fan setting, then the ensuing hurricane more or less blocked out the music and we were able to sleep!||||The beach isn't attached to the hotel, it's a 10 minute walk, and we found we preferred the beach at the Port Yasmine as there were a number of decent restaurants nearby and an excellent gelateria called Canari.||||Overall it's friendly, nice hotel, at a good price with a bad...

Super family holiday: we were given a recently redecorated 3 bed house near the pool, 2 bathrooms, private pool, fresh linen and cleaning every day. There is a kitchenette, but it would be quite hard to self-cater - local restaurant food is cheap and delicious and the markets are not so easy to navigate. We thought the hotel's own restaurant was some of the best food around. It is well located half between the medina (old town) and new marina - taxis are plentiful and cheap. Jaffar, the owner, was very welcoming, could not do enough for us, firing up his pizza oven just for us. The description of a private beach is a bit misleading - its a 10 min walk to beach - not direct from hotel. But beach is great once you get there. The disco across the road is noisy - you can hear it, but it didn't stop us...
