We have spent a week in this hotel, so I wanted to share some of my impressions. The hotel itself is really luxurious: nice entrance, reception area, restaurant, and bars. Everything is super clean and smells nice. My friend has celiac disease, so if you can't eat gluten, this is a heaven for you. All allergens are labeled in the restaurant, and if you want to, they can prepare meals for you or show you what you can eat. The staff is absolutely amazing, and for me personally, this is one of the key elements in every hotel. Receptionists, waiters in the bar and restaurant, managers in the restaurant, waiters at the beach, guys that bring towels at the beach—literally everyone was amazing and super helpful. Our room was on the second floor and was huge. It was cleaned every day, and the mini-bar was refilled. The food in the restaurant is great, with so many choices. We also enjoyed an à la carte dinner at Culinarium, and the food and service there were amazingly above expectations. This is a proper hotel for enjoying and relaxing. No one will bother you if you don’t want them to, but if you do, they will be there for you. I have a few small suggestions to make things even better, but even without them, this hotel, for me personally, is worth visiting again. In fact, we loved it so much that three of our friends will be coming here on September 8th. I understand that with tips you can do more, but I would forbid booking tables for dinner or lunch. I saw that a few tables were reserved for some guests even though they arrived close to the end of lunch. I'm guessing they tipped some of the waiters to reserve the tables for them, but I would forbid that. It's okay to tip them for good service, but not to reserve a table that could otherwise be available for other guests. The guys who were handing out towels at the beach were amazing, and this is a great concept. However, sometimes it's a lot of work for them, and it takes some time to get a towel when you arrive at the beach. I would suggest putting a small towel station close to the beach so everyone can take a towel when they arrive and not have to wait for someone to bring it. The number of guests is going to increase, so I'm guessing this would speed up the process. Camel riding. I'm not sure about the policy in Tunisia, but what really "bothered" me is the guys with camels at the beach. They pass by so many times or even stand at the beach in case someone would like to ride a camel. They don't walk where the sunbeds are, but still, you can't go swimming without having a conversation with them and repeating "No thank you" ten times until they give up. I saw some people riding them, which is fine, but I would avoid having them at the beach all the time. As you can see, these are just small suggestions, and even without them, this hotel is perfect. From the moment you enter the building, you will feel welcomed with a great smile from the receptionists, and your luggage will be taken to your room. After that, all you have to do is enjoy. You will be greeted with champagne on gala dinner nights, with a violinist playing at the entrance. The staff will be there for you all the time to make this one of the best vacations of your life. Thank you, TUI, and hope to see you again soon.

Honest Review for Future Guests and Management The hotel is not located in a walkable area — you will definitely need transportation to reach the city center. Although it is rated as a 5-star hotel, it does not fully meet the standards expected of a true five-star experience it deserves a 3 stars honestly On the positive side, the rooms are spacious, and the view is beautiful. We were kindly upgraded upon arrival to a sea-view room, which we truly appreciated. However, the experience during weekends was less enjoyable. The pool gets very crowded, as the hotel allows external visitors to pay for access to the pool and beach without booking a room. This makes it difficult for hotel guests to find sunbeds, often requiring a long wait. The pool area is also full of children, even though there is a separate kids’ pool — which is rarely used. There are two restaurants: one by the sea and another near the pool. Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience at both. On a Saturday, the staff was clearly overwhelmed and unable to manage the large number of guests. We waited over 40 minutes at each restaurant, and no one came to take our order or clean the table . We even tried to order directly at the cashier, but were refused, and we eventually left without eating. We also noticed that some restaurant staff seemed to prioritize certain guests over others, which was disappointing and unprofessional. In addition, the basic room amenities were incomplete — items like slippers, shower caps, and other standard toiletries were missing. For a 5-star hotel, we expected better attention to detail. Parking was another issue — on the weekend, it was very difficult to find a parking space inside the hotel due to the high number of non-resident visitors. Unfortunately, hospitality at this hotel is at its lowest level. Staff training, attentiveness, and guest care need serious improvement to meet even basic expectations — especially for a hotel claiming five stars. Suggestions: – Increase the number of staff during weekends to better handle the crowd. – Give clear priority to hotel guests in both the pool area and restaurants. – Ensure all rooms are equipped with complete amenities. – Manage parking better by reserving spots for residents the guest experience suffers especially on busy days. Staff are nice and kind in the reception but there is a lack of training take it serious so you can improve the guests experience…

We have just returned from Tunisia and I didnt even have a trip advisor account but with the amazing service I received I just had to comment on my trip. Well where to start, we arrived early at arround 8am... usual check in was in the afternoon as other hotels are, we were immediatly greeted by very polite and professional reception team who proceeded to inform us that we could have our room in a short time. To make things even nicer we were directed to the breakfast restaurant and whilst officially like other hotels do we were only due to have breakfast from the following day this was a very nice gesture and especially when we were very tired from travelling from the UK. The facilities at this place are spot on and its a real 5 star hotel unlike others, the wifi was great, the breakfast buffet was WOW .... to further add to the quality off this hotel I had mentioned it was our anniversary and was advised they would do something nice for us. Although a little sceptical I was advised by Saif they had booked me a meal at the a la carte restaurant, the meal was absolutly delightful.... 3 courses and waiter service and considering I was a bed and breakfast customer they did not charge me anything.... what more could we ask for.... To add further to the experience everyone was so nice, a special shout out to Mohammed..... what a smile this guy has :-) I cant remember everyone else at receptions name but the guys I dealt with could not do enough for us. Now onto my room, where do I start... I booked a room with private pool and so happy I did, who wouldnt want to open their terrace to find a pool at their doorstep to cool down. Although it wasnt massive it was perfect for me and the wife The room size was much larger than others I stayed at before Location , right on the beach.... walk from your hotel onto a private beach area, im not even a beach person but was so nice to have this. Short drive from the hotel to the Medina where you can find a good selection of restaurants and ice cream stalls. Taxis were very cheap so you could quite happily pop out for tea or dinner and come back without breaking the bank. All in all I was really impressed , a special shout out to Mohammed again... thanks for making our stay special and I wish you personally all the success and happiness you deserve. If you are considering this hotel, don't consider... just book it, you wont be disappointed.

Hotel was amazing... Management were a shambles. Apart from the odd staff member that were amazing the rest were awful. If you decide to go take long trousers, they changed the dress code half way through the holiday and refused me the meals I paid a lot of money for on the all inclusive. Managements said.... go buy some or pay at the pool bar?! Also, dont upgrade to having a private pool... you get no sun on it and it's never cleaned. Waste of 800quid. Sorry all... not for me. Your location

Response from the owner 34 minutes ago Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with our hotel here. We are very pleased that you enjoyed our outstanding service and we look forward to seeing you again. Each hotel has its own qualities, of course, and we strive to increase the quality every year so that our guests feel more comfortable with us every year.

Unfortunately, we can not understand your criticism in many ways. Therefore, we would like to answer here : With our service, we always pay attention to a positive and professional approach to our guests. The philosophy we follow as a local team is simple. Honest, nice & clean! So when we saw guests not respecting the dress code we asked Gentlemen for long trousers and informed all our guests one day before all around the hotel to make sure that everyone knows about it. we never refused meals to any of our guests. Just kindly asked to wear long trousers for dinner that's why we don't understand how it comes that one of us asked you to go to the pool bar to have your dinner where we never offfered dinner there. In the room you enjoyed the size and comfort. Some criticisms you have mentioned are unknown to us until today. It would be beneficial to address certain things directly on the spot, but we have not been able to register complaints about the points you mentioned.

The satisfaction of our guests has the highest priority and is our success as a hotel team. We thank you for the time and wish you all the best. The Management

Thank you for your response.

Firstly, I will not be returning,

Secondly, not very professional to call your customers liers, you say never told me to go pay at the pool bar, that's ridiculous, that is exactly what happened, i was told to go buy some trousers or pay at the pool bar, and I was flatly refused my meal even though I was all inclusive, there was also nothing on the website about long trousers, everyone around the pool all said the same as me because we all checked.

I would recommend as your supposed to be a top quality hotel that you try listening to your customers rather than try and lie your way out of it, to accuse me of lying is a joke, take the criticism and learn from it. The hotel was amazing but the Management were a joke! The manager that turned me away for wearing smart shorts did not even have a uniform on himself, a name tag or anything, one of your guests had trousers given to him my a member of staff, they didn't even fit him, his asse was hanging out the back of them. Oh dear.

Anyone reading this, I do apologise to you as I dont usually moan about anything but I would give this place a...

A Perfect Getaway at Oceana Suites in Hammamet, Tunisia

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Oceana Suites in Hammamet, Tunisia, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a fantastic stay.

Culinary Delight: The food at Oceana Suites is simply delicious, offering an impressive variety every day. Each lunch featured different meats, two types of soups, a delightful selection of cheeses, and fresh local fruits. The bread selection was equally impressive, and we were even treated to lobster for one dinner, which was an unexpected luxury. Additionally, the local wine selection included in the all-inclusive package was excellent, adding a special touch to our dining experience. Make sure you book your a la carte reastorant visit as soon as you arrive to avoid disappointment

Stunning Beach: The beach at Oceana Suites is nothing short of beautiful, with pristine white sand and clear blue waters. Contrary to some reviews mentioning it being dirty, we found it to be exceptionally clean during our stay. It was the perfect place to relax and soak in the sun.

Inviting Pools: There is one main, spacious swimming pool that caters to all guests, but the hidden adults-only relax pool was our favorite. It provided a serene escape where we could unwind in peace.

Relaxing Atmosphere: The overall atmosphere of the hotel is incredibly relaxing, with no loud or noisy music during the day. In the evenings, we enjoyed performances such as saxophone music and singing. While we appreciated the tranquility, we wouldn’t have minded a bit more entertainment or music during the daytime.

Comfortable Rooms: Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, with daily housekeeping ensuring everything was perfect. The comfort and cleanliness of the room added to our overall satisfaction.

Exceptional Staff: The staff at Oceana Suites are top-notch, always friendly and accommodating. A special thanks to Salah at the reception, whose helpfulness and professionalism truly stood out.

Value for Money: For the price we paid, our stay at Oceana Suites far exceeded our expectations. The value for money is exceptional, and we left with wonderful memories and a desire to return.

We stayed for one week in September and found Tunisia to be an overall underrated country. The blend of culture, hospitality, and natural beauty makes it a hidden gem worth exploring.

If you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable affordable stay in Hammamet, Tunisia, Oceana Suites is the...
