Its a rip off Rooms are cold in winter and air conditioning is controlled centrally. Not very effective. Why would I pay expensive rates and not even get a warm room ? They failed the first principle of hospitality. Great reception staff Nice and clean rooms Close to Tunis central street (15 minutes) and a shopping centre(5 minutes) that you can walk. English speaking staff Just ask for direction and help around the area and they will be happy to talk you through. They printed map of the shopping centre and central streets so that we could walk to the places. Free parking and full security. There is security check every time you enter the building and also they scanned under our car with a mirror before entering the carpark. Rooms are fair size and clean but the air-conditioning does not heat up. I think the temperature is controlled by reception centrally. We didnt not try the restaurant or the bar. There is not tea or coffee facility in the room. Wifi very slow and weak on Level 7.

Co-located with the Novotel the hotel faces inland on the same site. A 15 minute walk from the main boulevard in the centre of Tunis. The rooms are as you'd expect for Ibis, clean, functional and no frills. The views from the 7th floor are pretty great, across the northern areas of the city or out towards the peaks of the national park across the bay of hammamet. The adjacent high rises on this street (including the Amen Bank, next door) make it easy to find when you're wandering back. The service was, frankly, a little cold both at check-in and check-out, although I was kindly offered a late breakfast and a taxi was called for me. Top Tip: taxi to the airport should cost no more than 10 DT (that's dinars - not 10€ or any other currency). The drivers will almost certainly try to insist it is a long way (it isn't), or that you must pay extra to put luggage in the boot (you don't). The only way to get your price is to be incredibly firm and/or threaten to use another taxi.

I stayed there for 11 days in general every thing is good expect one little detail who make give review 3 stars instead of 5. The reason why I went to ibis is because the room have desk where i could study and work also reception is a good place for people who want to work with their laptops and documents. I was able to study calm in my room until came people to the room next making a lot of noise to point I was not able to sleep I called the reception and they say I should change my room and they cannot ask my neighbor to keep calm. So I had to move to smaller room at midnight and the hotel stuff didn’t even bother to excuse. But the hotel still have a good side the security guards are so friendly as well as the cleaning ladies are very attentive and carful so the rooms are always clean. The food there is correct and delicious but is 3 times more expensive than an average restaurant in tunis.

Very bad experience First I paid for the airport transfer 40 dinars one way. Very late check in I was very tired and no dirink is welcome, I don't understand where the hotel management or general manager or FOM can't control the hotel staff. I can't believe they have a dirty receptionist like this girl. She was talking to me in a very bad way, no respect at all, when I was asking for my bill as proof that I paid for the taxi, she said do whatever you want I don't care (etsaref) I'm so sorry she doesn't know what hospitality means. Even the owner of the hotel never talks to the guest this way. And when i went to my room no accor amenities no bathrobes one bottle of water very hot no cup no fridge. The safety deposit box was definitely not working. I was asking her to send me the engineer, but I was waiting for a long time, and no one came. After a long wait, I fixed it myself. No one can believe that I only have one hanger. When i asked her, she replied that they only have one and I will not give you more. The housekeeping attendant on the night shift helped me he and gave me over five hangers. This lady needs at least one year training to know how to welcome guest and how to smile, I'm sure she never respects her manager because she really doesn't care... So when I called her to send someone to help me unload the luggage, she answered help yourself 3 star hotel does not provide this service, I asked her for her name she looked at me in a bad way for what you need, you will find my name when I send you an email you will find it there and she did not send anything. IBIS hotel not a hotel so it sure has that quality of staff that works without the name tag. I will thank housekeeping tonight's service and security who was helping me with luggage and hangers. Ahh I forgot to say something when the hotel has so many problems the guest can forget everything because the staff are friendly and smiling and helpful thanks for this bad experience I will...

Rooms are very small and very basic, like a jail cell with one very tiny window. Rooms temperature is controlled by the management so they choose if you get air conditioning or not. So when it’s hot outside, your room is very very hot too but when you tell them, they act like it is the first time they are hearing it; don’t be fooled, they know exactly what’s going on. ||Service in the front desk with the exception of two people is completely non-existent and you have to try very hard to get service and responses. The girl in the front desk with the black hair is usually smoking in the back office and playing on her phone and the restaurant staff have to tell her to come out to serve at the front desk. The other blonde haired girl, her name starts with A, is very mean and rude to most guests Omar and Asma are very nice. Housekeeping is super slow and not organized. ||Restaurant staff provide no service at all, not even a greeting. If you ask a question, they clearly are not happy to be disturbed from playing on their cellphones. They hide in the corner and gossip all throughout the meal service and play on their phone. ||It is not walking distance to the Old Town, it’s quite a walk so be very prepared to walk or take a taxi. Use Bolt Taxi and drop the price 3 dinars if you want to negotiate a rate. ||Airport to hotel from departure area was about 7 dinars but you can get it at about five dinars. ||Food is horrible at the hotel but they do serve an overpriced breakfast buffet. ||Outside it is very...

Stayed here with a family member for three nights, while sightseeing in Tunis. We arrived at about 2230, and our reservations for two rooms were waiting for us. Mohammad, the clerk who checked us in was extremely helpful and provided accurate advice about taxi fares and tour drivers the next morning. He explained he worked in the nearby Ibis Styles hotel but was filling in at this hotel for the evening.||The rooms were comfortable but old; the air conditioning was excellent; plenty of hot water in the shower. The beds were decent and all the electrical outlets ere operational. Breakfast was decent, but nothing to brag about. ||About 1900, Saturday, 21 Sep, I went to the front desk to exchange money before going out for dinner. I had some dinars but wanted a few extra - the female desk clerk apologized and said she did not have any cash to exchange. We discussed the location of the nearest ATM etc. Finally, she reached in her purse, and handed me about 20 dinars to have with me as extra funds for taxi etc. ||We returned after dinner, and the lady receptionist still did not have any dinars. I paid for her advance in my local currency.||This lady, whose name I do not know, went above and beyond and essentially lent me money from her own personal funds.||I strongly recommend this hotel use this lady in a position of additional responsibility. I would return to this hotel...
