Upon arrival, we were unable to drive in front of the hotel as it was very narrow and busy. We drove to the parking lot and then arrived to the hotel with our luggage. Keep in mind, the walk is about 4-5mins on cobblestone roads.
When we checked in, I was hit with the smell of smoke as soon as I entered the room even though I requested a non smoking room. I advised the lady at reception I requested a non smoking room as I had allergies, she accommodated and changed our rooms. I can still smell smoke within this room also. The lady at reception also mentioned all rooms were non -smoking however some guests choose to smoke. This does not make sense to me. If I am booking a non smoking room, I expect to have a non- smoking room. Luckily, we are staying for a short period of time. Please be aware. Location is very central however parking/driving is a nightmare when busy. Even there allocated parking can fill up as other people who are not hotel guests choose to park there.
Aside from this, room was standard. Toilet seat was not stable and fell to the floor when the lid was lifted.
Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend to a friend or family member? No.

Read moreI spent two weeks driving 3,000 kilometers throughout Turkey. I was originally only planning to spend one night at this hotel (and in Çanakkale) but... both the city and the hotel impressed me so I extended my stay by one night. If I’m ever in Turkey again, I’d add this region and this hotel to my list of places to spend more time in. Everyone who worked at the hotel went above and beyond to make my stay both memorable and comfortable. The only word of advice I’d offer is that if you are driving, the hotel is not visible from the street as you have to enter an enclosed pedestrian mall to access. Additionally, the hotel has parking but you’ll need to check in first so they can direct you to the parking and also open it for you. This is slightly tricky as the street you drive on to access the hotel is narrow and requires you to block traffic behind you while you run in to get their attention. Turkish drivers are very polite and patient so don’t stress. Also, if you have phone service, this can be avoided by...
Read moreWow super noisey here. Bring ear plugs as they don’t supply them Location is certainly central but I’m sure if you e had a big day you’ll appreciate somewhere less party central or if you need a central place to stumble into in the wee hours this place could be perfect for your group! Breakfast is a bit tragic too. Flies buzzing around and the waiter more interested in his cell phone than customers. Staff in the breakfast area/bar are rude n pathetic. Waiting for a tour company to meet us , less than 5 mins and they kicked us out and had to wait in the sun on the street. LOL said he had to clean the bar as they opened at 4pm and it was only 1045! And then he stood and watched the cleaners do the work while he did zero!! Managed to get an upgrade to top floor and a terrace view, it’s worth the extra $$10EU The hotel does have a small elevator too which is a plus Reception staff were helpful Bedding sheets and pillow cases are...
