We stayed for three nights in a beautiful suite room at Mirsoum Han and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The employees (Davud & Diyar) always welcomed us with a smile. With their kind, friendly & always solution-oriented attitude they really made us feel very welcome. Smallest suggestions for improvement were implemented literally the next day.

Before I move on to the tasteful rooms I have to mention the breakfast. We have been on the road for 2 weeks and the breakfast here has by far been the most amazing! Medina, the lady in the kitchen, went above and beyond to provide us with a different amazing breakfast every morning. She even made special vitamin drinks for me, because she cared for my pregnancy. I would come back here anytime just for the breakfast!

The stone rooms with high arched ceilings are as beautiful & spacious as shown on the pictures. We had a fire place (Davud helped us set it up every night), an amazing copper bath tub, multiple cozy sitting areas beautifully decorated and a very big modern bathroom. We loved drinking the nespresso coffee provided and just enjoying the beauty of the room. Also the lighting in the room is very romantic. You can see in every corner of the hotel, that it is an acclaimed architect’s work. Also, the sitting area outside has a beautiful view of Mesopotamia.

The only downside is the location. Due to the labyrinth like nature of old town Mardin, you will encounter some parking problems and you’ll have to walk up some stairs. But the above mentioned perks of this hotel make up for this. We would warmly recommend staying in this high quality hotel and love...

We had an extraordinary stay at Mirsoum Han. Our host, Diyor, and all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful - nothing was ever a problem and all our requests were cheerfully accommodated without fuss. Language was no barrier at all despite the fact that we only speak English. We were truly made to feel like members of the family. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed with careful attention to modern design whilst maintaining the authenticity of the traditional stone architecture. The courtyard is a delightful shady refuge to while away the warmer hours of the afternoon, and the glorious rooftop terrace is a gorgeous spot to enjoy the sunset and a delicious dinner. Chef Medina is a master of the local cuisine. She prepares breakfast at the kitchen counter for each guest every morning. And she cooked us a truly delicious dinner on our last night. The hotel is located in a pedestrian-only zone (much of Mardin is steps), but this was no problem at all as Diyor had this well under control and organised assistance with getting the luggage to and from the hotel. I cannot recommend a stay at Mirsoum any more highly. For an authentic, peaceful and frankly beautiful stay in Mardin,...

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Mirsoumhan, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was perfect.

The location itself is a true gem, offering breathtaking views and a tranquil environment that is perfect for relaxation. The accommodations were immaculate and thoughtfully designed, combining modern amenities with a touch of traditional charm.

What truly sets Mirsoumhan apart is the attention to detail and the genuine care that is evident in every aspect of the service. The cuisine was exceptional, featuring a variety of delicious dishes that showcased local flavors and fresh ingredients. Each meal was a delightful experience, leaving me eager to try more.

Overall, my stay at Mirsoumhan was nothing short of extraordinary. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an unforgettable adventure, Mirsoumhan is the perfect destination. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional and...
