Bland but Beautiful

While this Renaissance property might look and feel like a typical Renaissance hotel in the western world, it has a lot more character that you will get to discover once you get settled in and explore through its layers. Certainly a great value for money given the luxury you get and the money you pay.

LOCATION: Not the best of locations as it has not much happening around it, but you are just a quick Uber ride away from the Besiktas neighbourhood

DINE + DRINK: The Club lounge on the rooftop was the absolute highlight of our stay. It came loaded with Sprawling views and attached to a uber-chic bar/lounge which is the place to see and be seen in this part of town. Come dressed up!

ROOM: We stayed in 1206, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Million dollar views of the city, Bosphorus and more! ; SIZE: Very spacious suite with a huge living room and a big Master bedroom; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Lovely spa-quality cosmetics

FACILITIES: The gym is probably one of the highlights of this hotel! Spread over 2 floors, it comes loaded with all kinds of weights, machines, and Cardio equipment. The indoor pool is excellent and heated - so perfect for a swim even during winter weather.

SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to FIRAT DEMIR (the front office manager) who made our stay memorable with special attention

HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in multiple languages

COVID UPDATE: THe property has done an excellent job of ensuring safety, social distancing and hygiene to minimise the risk as much as possible. Especially the Common areas and Restaurants had a good implementation of the...
