Hotel Akca — Hotel in İlkadım

What would you say about a otel where you figure out at 22:00 PM that there is no hot water?

It was repared the day after, in the morning but still, in such a situation I would expect from the owner to make a commercial gesture, he didn't. Especially if you have no blanket on the bed, and they tell you we gonna bring in 10 minutes...they never show up...

Also the breakfast is not good as you could expect for a 3 stars otel, and please don't justify it with the 10 TL discount you made on the room price. I ate much better breakfasts in 2 stars otels all...

We were given a twin room although online booked a double bed, but other than this we were very satisfied with this hotel for an overnight stay. Staff very helpful and pleasant, one speaks good English. Room was simple but clean, beds comfortable, bathroom newly renovated with massage showerhead and toiletries. Wifi. Quiet street so left windows open if not using aircon. Breakfast is substantial, Turkish style ('french toast', egg, tomato, cucumber, olives, bread, jams, etc) in a sunny courtyard. For overnight, we would stay again, as good value...

No hot water, no elevator, no shower cabin. Otherwise, if you like a healthy lifestyle (walking the stairs and taking a cold shower), the place is totally ok. My economy room and the bedsheets were clean, the bed was comfy, there's no view, so no noise from the street. There was no warm blanket, but there's AC, which I didn't try to use, and there's a TV. The breakfast was not huge but quite enough and yummy, the people are nice, the location is absolutely central, everything interesting is within 3-5-10...
