Pros: Great location, close to Konyaalti beach, shops, restaurants, and public transport. Staff was fairly friendly. Unfortunately, these are the only positives.
Cons: Before booking, we checked other guests’ reviews, but we could never imagine that reality would be even worse.
There were three of us, and let me start by saying: the rooms in this hotel are absolutely not designed for three people. They were tiny, suitable only for two at most. Or maybe we just got some “exclusive” attic room on the top floor, even though the hotel was far from fully booked.
We stayed on the 4th floor, and every evening when we came back, the lights in the stairwell on our floor only either didn’t work or flickered. We had to climb in complete darkness or use our phone flashlights.
Another huge inconvenience: they provide only one key for the entire room, no matter how many guests are staying. Clearly, this is just another way for the hotel to cut costs, but it’s extremely uncomfortable when you’re sharing a room.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with damp sheets and wet pillows. It felt like someone had just sprayed air freshener all over the bed five minutes before we checked in, and it hadn’t even dried. The towel set: one large and one small towel per person. Disposable slippers. Acceptable, but nothing more.
The bathroom deserves to be burned to the ground. – The extractor fan was filthy (probably not cleaned since the hotel was built) and it didn’t even work. Not even a hum, nothing. – Thanks to that, we could hear everything from the neighbors: sneezes, coughs, every word, every step, every sound. Forget about privacy in this hotel. – The toilet seat was dirty and broken. – The shower head leaked. – The shower doors didn’t close properly, leaving puddles of water on the floor after every use. – The ceiling was covered with hair from previous guests. – The tiles were full of mold that had clearly been growing for years without maintenance. – Hot water sometimes took 10 minutes to arrive, and sometimes never came at all. We had to shower with cold or lukewarm water. – The bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close unless locked with the key.
The room itself was poorly cleaned: long hairs on the floor, random dirt, dusty panels and windows. Curtains smelled of dust and cigarettes, clearly not washed in years. All coat hooks were broken and hanging loosely. The balcony was dusty, the furniture dirty, and the windows filthy.
Wi-Fi was practically useless. The hotel had about 6 different access points, but the connection only worked in the lobby. In the room, it dropped within 2 minutes every single time. We had to use mobile data for the entire stay. If you plan to work remotely—forget it, or bring your own internet.
Breakfast was the same every single day. Fresh and tasty enough, and we like traditional Turkish food, but still, zero variety. And strangely enough, throughout the entire week, the watermelon and melon served were completely tasteless.
This hotel cuts costs on absolutely everything—and it shows. We also wanted to save money, which is why we chose it, but never again. There are much better options for the same price with far...
Read moreWell.. how should I start telling you our story with Behram's Manager Erdogan... first we booked through Expedia our rooms and felt everything will be ok as usual.. but when I arrived to behram hotel with my wife and 3 child (3 years old, 8 years and 10 years) after 14 hours of travel we were shocked that the family room we booked for 5 persons was not available!!! And he told me no room! Immediately I opened expedia and showed the manager that it is showing 5 family rooms still available! Additionally i loaded hotels.com and showed 3 family rooms are available.. the manager was lying on me! And offered me a room with double bed + 1 small extra bed instead of the big room we booked and thought we will get.. ||||My wife and kids was very tired after our 14 hours of travel.. and it was 4 AM..So I was forced to accept to take the very small room that only fits 2 persons+ baby! And tried to fit my family of 5 in it.. nothing good! It was really the worst room/hotel we use. I spent few days in this room just to help my family recover .. when i used to checkout, he asked me to pay the full price of the big family room we did book through expedia.. i was really tired of negotiating with the manager and wanted to leave as soon as possible.. and i do not want to deal with such lier ..so I paid the full price of a big family room for a very small double room!||||Hope my story will help others not being victim of behram...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience during my stay at Behram Hotel. My party and I arrived at the hotel at 1 am, a time we had pre-arranged with them through messages, as it was outside their regular check-in hours. To our utter shock, the hotel staff informed us that there were no available rooms and suggested that we sleep on the beach for the night.||This was not only a ridiculous suggestion but also a safety concern in a foreign country we had never visited before. We were forced to find alternative accommodations for the night.||The next day, we returned to Behram Hotel as instructed by the manager the previous night, arriving at 1 pm. After waiting for an hour at the reception, the receptionist informed us that they could no longer accommodate us, despite having made a reservation with them three weeks in advance. Shockingly, no valid reason was given for this abrupt change.||This experience left us frustrated and disappointed. The hotel's handling of our reservation and the treatment we received were completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I would strongly advise against staying at Behram Hotel, as their lack of reliability and customer service made our trip a...
