I recently had the pleasure of staying at A Hotel in Side, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They struck the perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive, always ensuring I had everything I needed without ever feeling hassled. Their genuine warmth made my stay feel personal and relaxed.||The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable. Equipped with everything you could need, including a flatscreen TV, fridge, kettle with coffee and tea supplies, double wardrobes, and a spacious double bed, it felt like a home away from home. The bathroom was compact yet modern, with a fantastic shower that was a treat after a day of sunbathing. Every day, the maids / housekeeping did a thorough job of cleaning, making it feel even more refreshing to return to the room. Plus, they left three bottles of water daily, which was a lovely touch. Completely trustworthy too. ||The free WiFi was brilliant throughout the hotel, allowing me to stay connected wherever I was including rooms. I actually brought my Fire Stick along and enjoyed winding down with Netflix each evening.||I stayed in Room 422, located on the top floor (use lift or stairs), and it was lovely. The balcony gets sunlight every morning until early afternoon, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning (despite some unused land as part of the view but it didnât dampen my spirits). I think 419/420 even has a sunlounger on their balcony. ||Top tip: If you can, I recommend requesting rooms 502 and aboveâthey are in a separate apartment block but offer incredible self-catering suites for the same price. However, donât think they will get much sun on the balcony so depends what you want! These rooms have double showers, 50-inch TVs, lounge area, washing machines, a hob, and a sofa. However, I was really pleased with my room which was really big and had a double and single bed in. Be sure to email or call ahead if you want to secure a room in the newly built block!||I felt completely safe and at home during my stay and slept very well. The rooms were air conditioned (no additional charge) and had free WIFI. While Iâm not a breakfast person and quite fussy, I did notice that the breakfast spread wasnât particularly appealing to me, though it included the basics like cereal, toast, scrambled/boiled eggs, and fruit. It might cater more to other nationalities with some random concoctions. However, the food from the regular menu (paid items) was a pleasant surpriseâabsolutely delicious. The spaghetti Bolognese was sensational (just ask for no chili flakes if you donât like spice), and the chicken wrap, pizzas, and other dishes were also great. Iâm a bit fussy, but the staff were happy to adapt the menu to my liking.||The hotel offers a free shuttle to COPPA Beach, SIDE (check it out on instagram), which departs at 10 am and 11 am, with return trips at 4 pm and 5 pm. This is a huge plus - this along with the fact that it is a family run, friendly hotel was the main reason for booking! The beach is fantastic, with shallow, sandy waters that you can walk into for about 100 meters and still only be waist- or shoulder-deep. Itâs so aesthetically pleasing down there as itâs like a beach club / lounge with seating areas, restaurants, and sun beds & parasols (free) on the green grass or sand. The beach staff are so attentive and even serve drinks to you while you relax on your sunlounger.||The pool area at the hotel is lovely, with plenty of sunbeds and a cozy, warm atmosphere. The bar area is also very nice, making it a great spot to unwind.||The only slight downside is the surrounding area, which looks a bit derelict at first as itâs off the main roads. Arriving early hours of the morning I was thinking where on earth have I booked but I genuinely couldnât fault the hotel itself. However, the main roads, bars, restaurants, and shops are just a 5-minute walk away, once you get your bearings. Thereâs also a small supermarket about 150 meters from the hotel, which is convenient.||Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with excellent staff. Itâs a quiet and relaxing place, perfect for chilling out or enjoying the beach. I would definitely recommend it! Side Old Town is a must visit - 10 mins in a taxi (or Dolmus) where the You chill lounge is, restaurants and a lot more character and charm I.e Apollo temple, quaint buildings etc.||Iâve met loads of lovely people here and itâs been a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The weather has been 30-38 degrees - Iâm sad I have to return to rainy England!||Thank you to all the staff who work so hard every day but are always smiling! You have a...
Read moreWe stayed at this lovely little hotel for a week until an emergency meant we had to leave for home after just 6 days.... the pool and bar area are lovely... its a pity nobody really drinks at the bar in the evening... due to overpriced drinks I guess... its location could be an issue for some... its 300/400 metres from.the main road... but its a 10/15 minute walk to a very busy bar/restaurant/ shops area.| .. the views arnt good... but we don't go away to sit in the room... if that's something you like.....maybe this isnt for you.| Breakfast was pretty poor... as it generally is in most hotels... basically cheese ham bread and fruit... the chef is occasionally there to make omelettes from time to time... 24hr reception/ free water in the minibars... maids daily... its a lovely clean hotel... definitely worth visiting if you don't like the huge all inclusive airport style hotels.... nothing negative to report from.our point of view.... frequent visitors to Turkey... never to this part though. The old town is beautiful and worth a visit day and night. You can get he bus on the main road.| Or make your way to the promenade on the sea front... its a steady 45 min walk.| We weren't overly impressed with side as a resort... it just seemed huge and a bit soulless to us... but everyone is different. | As others have stated. There is a free bus to the beach club the hotel uses... the beds and parasols are free... and there's lots of them... the drinks are slightly more expensive than in resort... but you're getting free beds and parasols. So its worth it.. . If you want to book trips / massage etc. Look for George next to the celik supermarket on the maid road.| Really good guy... no trying to get money out of you for stuff you don't want or need.... A hotel and its staff 4.5 /5 for us.... side resort3/5... we have given an honest... balanced and truthful review. | We hope this helps anyone pondering staying at the...
Read moreArrived about 1am.and given rooms on the same floor as the reception area which were surprisingly quiet considering their location rooms, shower & beds done each day very comfortable, all tea & coffee facilities & a fridge with nicely stocked minibar(extra) aircon was free & very welcoming as it was around 30/35°c most days & 25°c at night. Two complimentary bottles of water were donated free each day and shampoos shower gels were restocked as required, the safe was a small extra charge.Breakfast was a great mix of cereals, eggs boiled fried or scrambled, salads, meats and Turkish speciality food, fruit juices, tea and coffee plenty of selections. The pool is welcoming and cleaned daily and plenty of sun beds and a nice bar & snack area to relax although it seemed to be closed early at night. The shuttle bus to Coppa beach is a great bonus as are the facilities there. The location of the A Hotel is a bit off the beaten track but if you do a bit of research and like strolling and exploring, the old town etc. is very close as is the other beach area and a lovely walk on the beach. The shops and restaurants are reasonably priced and good value. We found a bar/restaurant on the street near China Corner called Kayis and found the food fabulous and the staff very accommodating especially Akhan great prices also. They even reservered a large table so we could watch the football ball a few times we were also give free lifts back to the hotel a few times. The onlythings I have a small moan about was the bar shutting early and no English Channels on the T. V. to keep up with the news, but thinking about it might have been a blessingđ. The staff and cleaners went above and beyond to make our holiday and stay brilliant it truly was value for money and wouldn't hesitate to book with you again. Sincere thanks Graham, Sandra, Sylvia & Paul (rooms 211&212)1/10/2024-14/10/2024. A...
