Unfortunately, I can only give this hotel an overall 3 star rating. I am not keen on buffet restaurants, so I picked this hotel based on the number of A la carte restaurants. We managed to book all the free ones and paid for the Teppanyaki one at 40 Euros per person. I couldn't fault all the free A la carte restaurants they were lovely, but I was very disappointed with the Teppanyaki. We had booked it for 18.30, and was told it was on the same part of the hotel where all the other restaurants are. We got there at about 18.25 to be told sorry it's not here it is at the beach. So then we hurried along as fast as we could to the beach area to be then told no it's in the main hotel block. Arrived there again, to be then told sorry it is on the beach. I was not happy at this stage as it was now 19.00 and our reservation was at 18.30. I questioned were they absolutely sure, and they confirmed it was at the beach. By the time we found out where it was and sat down it was 19.15, 45 minutes late. We were given no menus, and had been given no information. We were given some salad, which we ate whilst waiting. We were then asked did we want some chicken soup, which we both agreed to, and when that came, it certainly was not chicken soup at all. It was a brown clear soup which I can only assume was Miso soup, which wasn't very nice. We were then given a plate each with rice on, and a dish with like mixed peppers and onions. I asked were we getting something else, and was told we would be getting further courses shortly. My husband and I had eaten most of the rice, and vegetables, and then we were given 2 big plates each, 1 with beef on, 1 with chicken. The 2 plates would have been enough for both of us, as there were loads. We started eating the beef and the chicken, and then was given 2 further plates each, 1 with prawns on and 1 with salmon. At this stage my husband and I were full, having eaten as much as we could of the beef and chicken. I ate 2 prawns, and did not touch any of the salmon, which was a shame, as they would have been the 2 courses I would have enjoyed the most. If we had known we were going to be getting chicken, beef, prawns and salmon, we would have only eaten a little bit of each. As we didn't get a menu, and weren't given any options to choose from, we got full pretty quickly. I complained that night in the restaurant, to the waiter, and 2 other men who seemed to be managers. I then left there, and called at Guest Relations by the pool and aired our dissatisfaction there too. I was given 3 small bags in 3 different colours by way of compensation, but I said I don't really need any bags. I also next morning, went to the Guest Relations Desk within the main hotel, and raised it with the girl who we had booked it with. She said she would speak to the Head Chef, and asked me to pop back after breakfast. He came to talk to us, but he didn't speak English, so it was difficult. The result of that conversation was that in future they would make sure that everyone would have visibility of a menu. I said I would like to receive a full refund for the meal, and she said I would have to meet with a manager to do that, and she said he was in a meeting until 10. I said how would I know when he was available, and was told he would contact me. I didn't hear anything, so next morning, I went back to Guest Relations and said I didn't hear anything yesterday, and was told he was expecting me at 10 yesterday. I said I thought he was contacting me. He was not now available, as it was Sunday and they were all off. I would have to leave it until Monday. I went to Guest Relations on Monday at 10, and spoke to a manager, who would not take any responsibility at all for what happened in the restaurant. He said you should have complained that night, which I said I had and at Guest Relations twice. I was offered the Sushi Restaurant but that is a free restaurant, that is no compensation for what we'd paid. Eventually I was offered a late check out on our room. This unfortunately was very bad...
Read moreThe rooms are decent with comfy beds. The sofa bed is horrible. Extremely hard and impossible to sleep on.
The TV is pretty much useless. Doesn't show any channels properly. For some reason the hotel doesn't provide iron or iron boards in the room. You have to pay through laundry service and it works out like €3 per shirt. Ridiculous!
You have all the usual amenities in the room. The shower is pretty decent with very good hot water and water pressure.
The kids water activity areas are brilliant. Very big and plenty of activities to play with. They had a big selection of slides and a whole area of wet activities for toddlers.
There is a bar next to it that serves fresh Pizza, a large selection of Ice Cream and plenty of drinks. Great for when the kids need a snack.
The hotel has two heated pools. One indoor and one outdoor but only open in winter, which was a pain. There was some windy days when we went in September and the open pools were freezing.
The spa has a steam room and sauna which is free to use. Pretty good and very nice temperature.
There is a very large kids club that is open until 5pm. They have an outdoor play area with scooters, swings, balls and trampoline that stays open all day. Very good for taking the kids for a few hours. Inside the club, they have plenty of toys from cars and doll houses to colouring and climbing frames. There is a mini kids cafe where you can find all sorts of kids snacks from flavoured milk, sweets and little savoury snacks.
There is a cool outdoor driving track and digging site for kids but the hiring cost is a bit silly. €15 for 5 minutes. I didnt see a single person use the facilities whilst i was there for a week. You'd think they'd take the price down to make it more reasonable.
The luna park (fun fair) opens at 7pm and is great. Nice rides and not that busy. They also have bumper cars. You can get fresh popcorn or candy floss.
The food is pretty decent here. They have a very large selection of food but the individual items can be hit or miss. There are endless desserts here to satisfy your sweet tooth. There is a seating space with kids soft play connected to it. Perfect for letting the little ones wild whilst the parents eat.
They have a night buffet that runs from 11pm to 7am for those who check in late. It has a nice selection of salad and some decent hot food. Mini burgers and stuff.
There is an arcade but it's like €25 for 12 credits. 1 credit per game. They also have PS5 here but you have to pay.
The hotel is so big so you can spend your whole week here without leaving the resort. However, you can walk it to the main road, although it's a fair bit of a walk. You have to go all the way around the hotel, across a small bridge and past the Dolphin Aquarium before you reach the main road.
When chilling by the pool, the staff are very attentive and on roller blades so pretty quick. They'll get you whatever drink you want. There is also a guy on a scooter serving ice cream which was pretty cool.
There is a Jacuzzi near the outdoor spa but the water isn't hot. It's just a normal pool with bubbles.
There is Shisha at the hotel at night but it's €30. A Decent smoke with strong clouds.
I forgot my UK plug adapter but reception provided me with one. You have to give a €10 euro deposit and get it back when you return the plug during check out.
The red ribbon they put on you has a code on it. Sometimes security stop you and check the code on their tablet. It shows if you are staying here and pulls up your passport picture to make sure you match the photo iD. Was quite impressed with this level of security.
The beach is pretty cool. They have tonnes of food stalls that service fries, doner, ice cream, juice and smoothies. There are loungers on the beach but they can be taken up pretty quickly so get there early.
The beach also has a soft play available for kids which was a brilliant touch.
All in all, this hotel was pretty good and extremely kid friendly. Apart from the small issues raised earlier, it was a very...
Read moreA thorough and Honest Review – Still 5 Stars Despite Some Issues
We had a couple of issues during our stay—one fairly major—but this still deserves a solid 5 stars overall.
Check-In Issue: On arrival, we were given a room that wasn’t what we booked. While technically an upgrade, it wasn’t suitable for a couple with a 4-year-old—it had only one bed and was more of a romantic room. Reception was helpful and promptly moved us to the correct room without fuss, and all our luggage was transferred.
Flooding Incident: On night 3, we returned at 10:30 pm with a tired child to find our room door open, staff everywhere, and the room flooded with about 3 inches of water. The bathroom ceiling had collapsed, soaking our clothes, shoes, and toiletries. Apparently, 8 rooms were affected. To the hotel’s credit, they moved us immediately, and I waded in to salvage essentials for the night.
The next morning, we spoke with the General Manager who was apologetic and offered very fair compensation. All affected clothes and bags were laundered, and we were given complimentary use of the Cabanas (£100/day) for the rest of our stay and free access to the two chargeable à la carte restaurants (£60 per adult), including for the couple we travelled with.
Minor Observations:
Sunloungers filled up early (as expected in most resorts).
Some leaks around the hotel, but all were dealt with quickly and didn’t affect our experience.
The Good – and There’s a Lot of It:
Food: Hands down the best I’ve ever had at an all-inclusive. The main buffet restaurant is vast with an overwhelming variety. Fresh pasta made to order, BBQ stations, fillet steak, extensive fish options, fresh bread, an impressive fruit and dessert section, and dedicated kids' food areas.
There are 8 à la carte restaurants, 2 of which are chargeable. The only downside is the need to queue early to get bookings (except for the paid options). The steakhouse was a standout meal, though not sure it’s worth the £60 unless you're a big steak fan—choices are limited, and sides are fixed.
In addition to the restaurants, there are numerous food points throughout the day: hotdogs, nuggets, pizza, cakes, toasted sandwiches, ice cream, fruit carts, and even a cake and chocolate shop—all included.
Drinks: Best drink selection I’ve had at any resort. Multiple bottled beers (Becks, Bud, Miller, Turkish options), freely available from fridges. Poolside drink service included rollerblading staff and ice bucket deliveries. Spirits were proper branded ones (Absolut, Jameson, etc.), and cocktails were well made. Soft drinks in cans (Pepsi, 7-Up), slushies, and proper coffee made from beans.
Pools: Busy but clean and varied. Olympic pool, party pools, adult-only pools, a great kids' water park, a large adult waterpark with big slides and a lazy river. Lots of activities throughout the day to keep all ages entertained.
Entertainment: The best I’ve experienced at any all-inclusive. High-quality nightly shows—external performers including acrobats, motorbike stunts, dancers, live music, and more. Truly impressive, like ticketed events you'd attend elsewhere. The kids' club was good from what we saw.
Beach: We went a few times. It wasn’t our favourite simply because the sand is stoney and too hot to walk on barefoot, but there were plenty of loungers and great bars to relax at.
Final Thoughts: Yes, there were issues, especially the flooding, but the way the hotel handled it was professional and generous. Other minor inconveniences (like early sunlounger grabs or minor leaks) were no worse than anywhere else.
This is the best all-inclusive resort I’ve stayed at—food, drink, entertainment, and facilities are all exceptional. Whether you're a family with kids or a couple, this resort has something for everyone. We’ve never returned to the same resort before, but we’re already talking about coming back.
And a note for anyone reading bad reviews—ignore the 1-star ones. We all read them when choosing a place, but they don’t reflect the...
