Exceptional Experience at Doda Cave Hotel - A Flawless 10/10
Our experience at Doda Cave Hotel started on a high note from the moment we arrived. Greeted by Seda, the co-owner, we were immediately made to feel welcome with the provision of a temporary room and a charming welcome basket of bread and cakes, despite our early arrival. This thoughtful introduction set the stage for a truly remarkable stay.
The hotel itself is a rare gem, perfectly blending comfort with authenticity in its unique cave setting. It offers not just a place to stay, but an immersive and enchanting experience.
Don, Seda's counterpart, adds immeasurably to the charm of Doda Cave Hotel with his engaging sense of humor and fascinating magic tricks. His presence greatly contributes to the hotel's warm and hospitable atmosphere.
Seda's role in organizing our tours and travel was pivotal. Her expert recommendations and efficient arrangements allowed us to explore the local culture and scenery seamlessly, adding a touch of magic to our adventure.
The hospitality at Doda Cave Hotel is unparalleled. Our interaction with both Don and Seda was a major highlight, marked by their personal attention and genuine care for each guest.
An additional commendation must go to the hotel's manager. In the absence of Don and Seda, they ensured everything was perfect, displaying exceptional care and attention to detail. Their efforts made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.
The hotel's amenities, particularly the breakfast, were exceptional, reflecting the manager's dedication to quality and service.
In conclusion, Doda Cave Hotel is more than a hotel; it's a destination of its own. We wholeheartedly give it a 10 out of 10 rating. Leaving was difficult, but we carry with us cherished memories and the hope of returning to this wonderful haven. Highly recommended for an extraordinary and complete experience.Title: "Exceptional Experience at Doda Cave Hotel - A...
Read moreWhere do I start? On the flight over - reading all the travel details we had booked, I started reading about the area (Cappadocia) - looked at a map and reviews and realized Doda is a drive from everything other than the market at Ortahisar and the Castle....and I read one negative review with photos and quickly second-guessed...I couldn't have been more wrong! Staying at Doda and in Ortahisar was the BEST! First the hotel - a beautiful little oasis - courtyard, great team (Thanks Ata and the two wonderful women the made a beautiful breakfast each day and kept the area spotless). It's overlooking the Castle and just a short walk to a wonderful market where everything is located that you need. Yes you drive to Goreme and Uchisar (where most of the tours are and the tourist shops (for Goreme) and wonderful restaurants (for Uchisar). Most of the tours you book (balloons, guides, horserides) will pick you up at Doda and bring you back, but if you need a ride - check with Ata and he'll make sure you're taken care of and the driver will come back and get you with just a WhatsApp message. Back to Doda - rooms are so unique - the owners are wonderful and it is so beautiful - one of my favorite experiences was to spend each night outside with one of the house cats - Barney and Mocha (see photo of Mocha). A family feel - the little office is open 24/7 so anything you need (e.g. ice) is a few steps away. And the breakfast is delivered to you regardless of where you sit in the oasis. I would not choose any other location to stay - away from the bustle of Goerme and the hills of Uchisar - although both are recommended visits. I wouldn't have changed anything and frankly one of the best places because of Ata, the view and the experience I've ever been to - Home...
