No.10 Restaurant Lounge — Restaurant in Ortahisar Beldesi

So promising, but ultimately disappointing. Visited the bar/restaurant area for a special occasion and although I can't really fault the staff, the menu was accessed via an app (not the end of the world, but makes it feel like you're ordering at a resort). The fire that appeared to give some ambiance was stoked with about 1/2 a bottle of meths and filled the room with acrid fumes. Other patrons were smoking (I hadn't checked if this was permitted or just ignored) The food was mediocre, but fairly reasonably priced. A bottle of wine was around 1,500 lira (about $50). I can't recommend the place considering the other options...

Food was good but honestly felt like the waiters were unhelpful and rude. We had a child under 2 who has dietary restrictions and needed plain spaghetti and they said we can’t order anything that wasn’t on the menu. Then, they said they would accommodate us and brought out pasta with butter and cheese on it and claimed it was plain. We refused and they charged us anyway and said if we don’t pay they will take it out of the waiter’s pay, which is unfair so we paid for it. Great venue. Beautifully developed on the hillside. Looks like game of thrones. Food was varied and fresh. Nice mix of local and international options. Quick service. Polite. Tasty. Good value but upper end of the market.

Tip: when in Ortahisar please avoid Park Cafe on the square. They rip off tourists and this causes bad feeling for the area which isn't a fair representation. BARRUS, NO.10, YIGIT and BEEY KEBAP will treat you well and charge you fairly....
