Terrible staff, terrible management, terrible security despite the fact the UNITED NATIONS and other NGOs stay there completely oblivious to what's beyond the warm welcome. Do not trust the staff at all. ||Menu is 6 pages, learned on day 1 that they might have half of one of those pages. ||Chef has 1 frying pan , oven doesn't work. ||Most expensive rooms don't have air conditioning or fan however the cheapest room for half that price has a fan 😂||If you ask for something you could get it in 20 minutes or 2 hours. Avoid the waitress at the bar, every staff complaint meeting revolves around her in some way. No working fridges, and the cross contamination in the deep freeze kitchen if f*cked up. They have enough ample parking space. Yo have to reserve a room early enough. The free breakfast isnt worth, its shouldnt be included as part of room payment if they are only going to give you boiled eggs and dry tea. The rooms are comfortable sleeping in, water pressure was okay, clean towels were readily available and generally the rooms are clean. Clean, affordable and with very friendly and professional staff. Can be noisy due to the neighborhood but which place in Gulu can survive that? There is noise everywhere. Breakfast offering was rather ordinary and is militarily supervised to make sure every guest gets a morsel. I was hungry within 30 minutes. The location is well placed just outside the CBD-actually within 200m. Would I go back? Of course. Should you? Why not....
