Glenville Suites — Hotel in Kampala

I stayed here for 4 months - Feb. through June 2021. The location was excellent for me working at the US Embassy. Staff are very attentive, rooms are clean. Gianfranco moved me into the only apartment with A/C - SHOUT OUT! I would've never moved except for two things; the freaking dogs fighting, growling, barking, squealing right beneath my balcony at 2 or 3 a.m. RELIGIOUSLY almost every night and the loss of electricity occasionally(once for more than a day - food spoiled in fridge). I came to Glenville for the 4th time, always on short stays. I particularly enjoy how the management cares for each customer. Free WiFi, DSTV, A/C. Everything was made for me to feel home. Safe, peaceful, convenient. Just across the road, the famous "patisserie" (best place for coffee and vienoiseries, even better than in France), and American Embassy. Night life not far, Lake Victoria nice restaurants at a distance worth USD4 with a taxi. Town center at the same distance. I'll go again to the same...

Its a shame how the management left behind during the corona period let go of the place. They dont respect guests at all. Poors services. Noisy neighbors with loud music that starts from 4 am in the morning. The woman and her minions that were left just...
