Lviv Euro Hostel — Hotel in Lviv Urban Hromada

L’viv Euro Hostel has a great homey feel. Your welcome starts the moment you walk in the door and they give you a pair of tapochki (slippers). Staff is very friendly (FYI, there is no one on site at night). They gave me a bed right away when I arrived in the morning after an overnight bus ride. L’viv is still off the beaten path for most tourists and the clientele seemed like random visitors, not backpackers and people passing through looking for work. However, unlike other places with similar clientele, the never felt like a weird crash pad. This is probably because the 10 bed dorm has beds instead of bunks and is divided into 2 spacious areas. ||||There is just one bathroom but it’s clean though in need of some upkeep. The hostel also has a very large kitchen area with plenty of room to sit and eat. Outdoor balcony and good sized common room with couches and a tv. The computer in the living room works great. The street outside is surprisingly loud at night (due to cobblestones) so bring ear plugs.||||Trams to and from the train station (intercity buses will drop off there as well) stops a block away but if you’re not familiar with the area get off in the center of town and then walk back to the hostel. Careful of the double room descriptions - "Classic Double" is a shared bathroom, "Standard double" is a private bathroom!||||My fault on that one, but meant we shared ONE bathroom between potentially 20 people (i.e. our room (4 beds)), the other double room, the other quadruple room and the 10-bed dorm (so I make that 20 people minimum). No plug sockets next to the beds and our room was right next to the reception desk so we got woken up with early people arriving/leaving their luggage. ||||The shower and toilet are in separate compartments - to turn the lights on (inc. the separate shower) you've got to put your hand through a hole in the toilet cubicle (even if there's someone using the toilet). It's a bit weird - see photo. The shower floor was full of hair one morning and the shower head has no clip on the wall so you've got to hold it. There are holes in the tiles with tape put over the top to cover them and stop water entering.||||We stayed for 3 nights - when we arrived, tried using the kettle and the switch was broken - was told by the staff you had to keep twisting and fiddling with it it until it made a connection. If the staff were aware the kettle was barely working then why wasn't it replaced in the 4 days we were there?||||Good location, wifi...

Ужасный хостел! Все начиналось хорошо, но к вечеру все изменилось... Начитавшись хороших отзывов мы сняли четырёхместный номер на трое суток. В первый день мы пришли поздним вечером и пошли спать, ночь прошла ужасно, во дворе разгружаются машины, т.к. есть магазин на 1 этаже, сотрудники этого магазина орут в 6 утра, как чайки и курят большой компанией, а так как кондиционера в номере нет, то при открытом окне весь дым заходит к вам в окно. Также жильцы готовят завтрак и все запахи и звуки кастрюль и т.д. у вас в номере. В первую ночь выспаться ни взрослым, ни детям не получилось. Вторую ночь также провели, практически без сна, на утро вообще, начался дурдом. Ночью играла музыка в одном из номеров, в 6 утра разгружаются машины и орут, смеются сотрудники и в добавок вышли соседи с собакой, которая лаяла без умолку минут 40. Мрак и ужас, последние нервы меня покинули. Номера. В номере ремонта не было лет 5-8!!! Фото не соответствуют действительности! Все грязное и неаккуратное. По запаху постельного стало понятно, что его заправили, но не стирали. Двери застряют, т.к. просели. Кондиционера нет. В ванной комнате унитаз пляшет. В душе отломана створка и вместо того,чтоб починить они просто повесили шторку. Черная плесень и пыль. На четырех человек всего 3 полотенца заюзанных. Горячую воду нужно ждать минут 15. Есть стиралка, но порошок не выдают, как и туалетную бумагу, только 1 рулон при заселении. Мебель обшарпанная. Вай фая практически не было, сигнал на одно деление. Кухня вся в жиру, как и посуда. Зато три листа А4 правил, за несоблюдение которых Вас выселят в любое время. Фото этого дурдома прикреплю ниже. Цена за 3 ночи 4100 грн. За что такие деньги-не понятно. Ужаснее этого хостела ничего не видела. Никаких документов не выдают, привет налоговой. Все правила в приказном порядке, сложилось такое впечатление, что я у кого-то в гостях и живу бесплатно, а не наоборот. Самые ужасные наши 3 дня во Львове за 20 лет После такого приема во Львов уже не хочется ехать.
