This is a clean, modern, and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The bed was comfortable, and the showers were spacious with good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
I am giving the hotel the benefit of the doubt that my dislikes about my stay were just exceptions or bad luck for me, but there was one big issue for me, and the description here on Google maps leads me to another issue.
The Google maps description says "modern hotel with free breakfast". No one told me about breakfast being included, so I didn't get any if I was supposed to.
Second, the air raid alarm speaker in my room was ridiculous, and in case that word doesn't translate well, I mean very bad. Being woken up by that screaming in my ear around 2:30 in the morning was horrible, and then I think the All Clear notification played too. This was my first hotel in Ukraine at the start of a two month volunteering visit. I am in the last week of my two months, all of which was spent much further east than Lviv, and this is the only hotel which blasted that in my room. I am back in Lviv on my way home, and did not stay at Ibis just because of the alarm...
Read moreThis is not a fancy hotel, but it's perfect for the traveler looking for a modern, moderately-priced, cozy place from which to explore LVIV. The rooms aren't large, but are clean and comfortable. The hotel provides complimentary water bottles (fizzy and still) along with coffee and tea in the lobby. The hotel restaurant offers a complimentary hot breakfast in the morning, including eggs, some sort of meat dish, vegetables, yoghurt, fruit, espresso drinks, and breads and pastries. After breakfast, the restaurant turns into a charming (and delicious) Italian-style pizza place. Service was always friendly and with a smile. I wasn't on the upper floors, but I was told that the views on the top floor were amazing, as it's one of the tallest buildings in downtown LVIV. I would gladly...

I spent there 3 nights and NEVER my room was cleaned, towels replaced and trash taken out. Really, guys? I heard this is kind of a must when you call yourself a hotel? They don’t even have a “please clean my room” door badge.
Next thing: my shower was leaking through the glass door, after the first night I reached out to the reception, they assured me it was “fixed”. In fact, they just cleaned up the water, and for the rest of my stay I had to deal with a flood and a mess inside the bathroom.
Don’t even mention filthy stains on the carpet. Expected something nicer from this...
