Ajman Saray is a fantastic resort in Ajman. This beach-size resort has a very nice an well-managed pool and 6 places to eat. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming.
-- Check-in Once arrived at the resort, they picked up our bags from the taxi and walked us to the reception desk. The receptioninst was very nice and explained us all about the resort and the all-inclusive package we had as part of our booking. All good.
-- Room We reserved a deluxe sea-view room with balcony. That was simply perfect room. The king bed was comfy, the room very spacious and so was the bathroom, speaking of which there were actually 2 rooms one with the bath, a spacious shower and a double basin; the other was a toilet room, also spacious, having also a bidet and a basin. The AC unfortunately was always on and the room was quite cold all the time. This made the sleep a wee uncomfortable as the wind of the AC was constantly hitting you.
-- Beach and pool The beach was amazing and sunbeds were assigned on a FCFS basis. I believe we were lucky always finding planty of spots being June, I'm afraid you might not always be able to find a sunbed during peak periods. Same was for the pool area. The pool itself was very nice and had some hydro-massage ares as well.
The beach and pool service is great. The staff is efficient, friendly and all the food and drink we tried were all of very high quality and well prepared. If you have the all-inclusive package, they have a dedicate menu with plenty of choices for food and drinks (alcoholic and non).
-- Restaurants There are 6 places to eat across the resort. Vista, that's the main restaurant with international food. It's a buffet restaurant. Everything is included in the all-inclusive package, anytime. Bab Al Bahr, that's located on the beach. The atmosphere is nice and dishes mostly focus on meats and seafood. This is not included in the all-inclusive package but you get a discount on the bill (aroudn 15% can't really rememeber). Mejhana, elegant restaurant serving by Middle East and India food. Included in the all-inclusive up to 3 courses per day and drinks in the all-inclusive drinks list. Essentially water, soft drinks and popular wine. Safi, casual place to get some bar-style food. All-inclusives get 2 courses per day, plus the all-inclusive drinks. There's also a pool table, we used to play there to spend the evening. Unfortunately it's just a single table for all the guests... Escape, we've never been there but looked like a lounge style cafe. Al Shorfa, very similar to a british cafe. This is also included in the all-inclusive package, a part from desserts.
-- All-inclusive package We honestly found the package worthy and clear. The only annoying thing was you can't eat at the Bab Al Bahr but you only get a discount. The other restaurants are anyway more than enough and honeslty all were serving good quality and tasty food.
-- Check-out The check-out was very smooth and they called a taxi to the airport for us that was cheaper than Uber and let us pay by card with no trouble.
-- Overall Super relaxing resort with always-smiling staff and great food. If you're looking for a relaxing all-inclusive resort near Dubai, that's probably the...
Read moreWe chose this hotel for our 24th anniversary 10 day stay, and we must say: 10 out of 10 on all counts! The staff treated us like royalty the entire stay. Professional, warm and friendly, quick to answer all our questions (we hadn’t been back to the UAE since 1998 and a LOT has changed), eager to please, no matter what the request, ready to provide outstanding service, above and beyond. From day one Raj and Rachel settled us in, then came back later in the week with huge smiles and exceptional service. Dawa and Sayed took over from there along with Vinod and Mikhel and Sara, who greeted us daily with smiles and a heartfelt “how are you?” Staff hail from all over this area, so bring their variety of cultures and languages to this luxury hotel, but we LOVED that everyone spoke EXCELLENT English and reached out to us every day. We never felt lost or forgotten, even during the weekend when the “locals” flocked in for short stays and things got busy. Regarding the facility itself, VERY high end, luxury finishes throughout (tho we learned that the Ajman Saray is one of the original hotels in Ajman, so a bit older than others.) The rooms are clean and comfortable, with enough class to justify a 5 star rating but not sterile. The views from our sea view balcony were AWESOME! I couldn’t take enough pictures to send to family and friends. Lovely soft linens, rooms impeccably clean, draperies nicely lined to block out the light (we slept a lot the first couple of days to catch up from our time diff). Coffee maker worked well, rain showerhead much appreciated, soaps, lotions and other incidentals smelled great and were provided to excess. Toilet area separate from the shower, and clean with some features we LOVED, esp the spray nozzle next to the commode. With Covid and the toilet paper shortage we experienced in the USA, we learned to love our after market bidet. So lovely to have something similar here. The beach and pools provided refreshing time spent outdoors — one of us likes the ocean, the other likes the pool, so we both had a GREAT time with a little time spent lying in the sun. VERY safe beach, small but deep enough to enjoy floating in the salty, warm water (felt GREAT on my joints and muscles). One highlight was provided by our “housekeeping attendant” Prinse. We came home after a hot day out walking in the city to the most magnificent setting for a wedding anniversary trip: our king sized bed, strewn with rose petals, and a lovely swan structure with a single red rose in the center, highlighted in “candle light” : this was the most romantic, sweet environment we could ever have imagined. For old lovers like us, this kindled a flame! LOL We elected to NOT do the “all inclusive” package because we like to wander around and experience the area, but ended up eating at the several restaurants onsite. Mouth watering flavors, delightful presentation, huge variety, warm and friendly service, all the features we look for in a great dining experience. We LOVED chatting with the chefs, asking for recipes, exchanging ideas. We recommend this hotel and this staff to anyone on the hunt for an experience that will be embedded in our memories as a “once in...
Read moreAjman Saray luxury hotel. This is my second stay at this luxurious hotel in the span of one year, and I can honestly say it does not get any better. I have traveled around the world, staying at many five-star properties, yet Ajman Saray stands out as the pinnacle of refined luxury.
From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by the door staff with warm smiles and impeccable professionalism. A concierge greets you at once, guiding you to an assistant who provides a thorough walkthrough of the hotel and its amenities. Once everything is explained, the same person accompanies you to your room, where your luggage is already waiting, ensuring you are completely satisfied before you settle in. We were lucky because we had Raphael taking care of us. The room itself is a dream: spacious, pristine, and outfitted with a luxurious bath, a separate shower, and an overabundance of upscale touches that make you feel pampered the moment you step through the door.
The morning breakfast experience is equally memorable. The breakfast spread is expansive—every imaginable option is available, and the level of service is extraordinary. There is a palpable sense that every staff member is there solely to ensure you have the best possible start to your day. The restaurant manager, along with the leadership of the hotel, creates a culture of attentiveness and hospitality that elevates the entire experience. A standout among the team is Fizer, who oversees the restaurant and much of the hotel operations. He goes above and beyond to ensure you feel completely satisfied, and his dedication shines through in every interaction. There is a doorman Nelson (see the picture above) his smile is to die for! Ajman Saray offers two beautiful pools and a pristine Jacuzzi just 20 meters from the hotel, with the sea only about 50 meters away. The poolside service is immaculate: attentive waitstaff, lifeguards, and towel attendants are all on hand to ensure comfort and convenience. The pools are heated, and there is a well-equipped fitness center with a gym and spa facilities, inviting you to unwind and indulge at every turn. If you ever decide to venture out, hailing a taxi is seamless—simply request assistance from the doormen, who will arrange a taxi for you, ensuring a fair rate and a transparent experience.
What stays with me most is the genuine warmth of the staff. The team consistently greets you with a smile, and that simple, heartfelt gesture travels with you long after you leave. It’s a memory I carry back home to Sweden, a reminder of how hospitality should feel at its finest.
In short, Ajman Saray is the kind of place where luxury meets effortless service. For travelers who crave exclusivity, thoughtful details, and a welcoming atmosphere, this hotel deserves nothing less than five stars. I can’t wait for...
