UPDATE Following the reply. I spoke on the phone to your staff member when he confirmed my booking. Thats when he confirmed the price. So sayin oh it’s on our marketing etc is a bit insulting.
Secondly, with regards to the water. YOU put two bottles on the table. YOU put bottles on everyones table. No one asked for it. So you can’t say wallah we never said water is included, it shouldn’t be on the table if it’s not included. And water is a Human Life drink not just a Ramadan drink. So your argument is stupid. You never said cutlery, tables and chairs are included but they were in the space you put us in so we used them. And you know what you have done, thats why you charge 36 AED for water that costs 5-10 aed.
You could have just apologized but instead you want to justify yourself, when you are wrong.
For that you lose a star
I have been three times to this restaurant, first time i went for breakfast which was good and was a reasonable price and the shisha was good. There was only 3 or 4 tables open, not busy. Service was very friendly and fast.
Second time i came for Shisha after Iftar. It was reasonably busy. Shisha service was fast and good. Tea and sweets took along time and then after 10-15mins we were told there was no sweets. Overall it was a good experience.
For iftar i went today. I took the family as a treat. I took 3 kids all under the age of 4. I called to book at 2pm and then they confirmed with me at 4pm. During the call i asked about the pricing and they confirmed the advertised price on social media to be correct, 110 aed for adults and free for children under the age of 7. Today was busy, table wasn’t ready fine no problem. They asked the age of the kids which i gave them. We ate the food was decent, not a wide choice but it was decent. Shisha was good. But when it came to pay they told me that kids under the age of 4 are free but 4+ is 55 aed. He said on this occasion they would do it for free, that phrase triggered me, because they clearly said under 7 is free. I didn’t ask for a discount or charity. They then charged me for water that they had already put on the table for Iftar and I didn’t order, which is ridiculous, its Iftar and you have made an offer why charge for water. I’m just glad this stingy restaurant didn’t charge for the 2 dates they put on our table. Anyway, they have lost a...

I had the pleasure of dining at Souryana Restaurant and Cafe last night, and I must say, it was a truly unforgettable experience. As a foodie, I'm always on the lookout for authentic, flavorful cuisine, and this Syrian restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that transported us to the heart of Damascus. The decor was tastefully done, with intricate Middle Eastern patterns and vibrant colors that added to the ambiance.
But what really stole the show was the food. Oh, the food! We started with the Fattoush salad, which was a symphony of fresh vegetables, crispy bread, and tangy dressing. The portion was generous, and we devoured every last crouton.
For our main course, we opted for the Machawi Dich and the Shish Taouk. The Machawi Dich was a revelation the meat were tender and flavorful, and filling was rich and aromatic. The Shish Taouk was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful char on the outside and juicy, flavorful meat on the inside.
We also tried the Arayes, which was comforting and satisfying. The meat cheese mix added a depth of flavor that elevated the dish to new heights.
We tried the Kunafa and it was absolutely divine! The combination of crispy phyllo dough, creamy cheese, and sweet syrup was a perfect blend of flavors and textures that left us wanting more.
Throughout our meal, the service was attentive and friendly. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions and high-quality ingredients.
In short, Souryana Restaurant and Cafe is a must-visit for anyone who loves Syrian cuisine or is looking to try something new and exciting. The food is authentic, flavorful, and expertly prepared, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!
Highly Recommended Dishes: Machawi Dich, Shish Taouk, Fattoush...

Read moreI was really disappointed with my visit to this restaurant in Ajman. We chose it based on great reviews, but our experience was far from amazing. The place was quiet with plenty of parking, and they have both smoking and non-smoking areas.
The waiter was friendly and seated us at a nice table, but the food took a long time to arrive. The complimentary bread was fresh, but things went downhill from there. I ordered the oriental salad with extra rocket leaves, and it was below average—poorly seasoned and dressed. The warak enab didn’t resemble a traditional Syrian recipe at all.
We tried the shish SOURYANA, their specialty, and it was awful; we had to ask the captain to replace it. The shish tawook was better but still not what I expected. The kofta was average, and the lentil soup was too thick and tasted bland. They also used a new brand of water with an unpleasant aftertaste.
The falafel and zaatar manakish were just okay, with the falafel having a bitter taste. Overall, I won’t be returning to this restaurant. They did offer us a small cup of tea, but it wasn’t enough to redeem...
