I recently stayed at your hotel from March 30 to April 1. While the room and facilities were pleasant, my experience with the service was extremely disappointing, leaving me frustrated and disrespected.
During my visit, I used the sauna and steam room and brought my two mobile phones and cardholder with me. I placed these items in a locker, but when I returned, I found they were missing. I immediately sought assistance from the attendant, who was both incompetent and unhelpful. I was told that security would be notified, but after returning to my room and even calling reception, there was no follow-up.
I was panicking because all my cards were in the cardholder, and I didn’t know what to do. In an attempt to resolve the situation, I went outside my room, hoping someone or security would be available. When I returned, however, my key card wouldn’t open the door. I asked a housekeeping attendant for help, but instead of assisting me, he directed me back to reception. I was left standing in the hallway in my swimwear, and not once did he offer me a towel or show any concern for my discomfort. His lack of empathy left me feeling humiliated and completely ignored.
When I called reception again from the hallway phone, the response I received was even more upsetting. The receptionist claimed they had tried calling my room but I didn’t answer, despite the fact that I had already explained that I was locked out. Later, the sauna/steam room attendant told me that one locker hadn’t opened. This only confused me further, as I had personally checked all the lockers WITH HIM, and nothing was found. He seemed to imply that I had failed to open the locker, which added to my frustration.
The reception staff, sauna attendant, and housekeeping were all incredibly unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. I was deeply upset by how I was treated. While I was happy with the room, the overall experience was ruined by the poor service and lack of care from your staff. Read moreThis could so easily have been a 5 star review. We stayed a few weeks ago and loved it so much that we booked again for our stopover on our way from Australia to England. This journey involves 14 hours on a cramped plane, with another 8 to look forward to. After our sleepless first flight, we arrived at the hotel before check in was available, so we left the busy, loud, and bright lobby and found a quiet corner near the coffee area to rest. We finally managed to close our tired eyes before two male staff in suits came to awaken us. They rudely told us we would have to leave because "guests would want to sit there." The area was completely empty with at least 8 tables available and no staff even working the coffee bar (it was also empty every other time we passed it during our stay... probably because their below average coffee costs $25 AED 🤯). The whole situation was so uncalled for that we desperately began searching for alternative accommodation where we would feel more welcome. We were about to leave when another (kinder) staff member told us our room was ready so we decided to stay the night, but it left such a sour taste for the entire stay. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone who is coming from a long flight as the staff will not be understanding to your needs. I would not stay in this accommodation again...
