We had a number of commitments in Dubai this weekend so thought to stay their for a night. So we booked a room with them online. The check in was due at 2 pm but we reached there pretty late like at around 8 pm. The receptionist had a straight serious and not so helping face and attitude. I haven’t seen any management behaving so coldly to a guest. We asked her if we can check out late as we checked in late, she very coldly and stubbornly refused to cooperate. I asked her to get me connected with the manager and let us go to our room first to get relaxed after a hectic day. Later the manager called us in the room and we settled with him the time. The manager too was coherent with the time constraints and upon convincing him several times he agreed on extending the time for 2 hours max. Rest Room was pretty good and spacious just like we have reserved online. Everything was spick and span, clean and tidy. Washroom was spacious with a clean bathtub. Complementary water bottles and coffee and tea accessories were there but other than that nothing was there as a complimentary treat. The room lacked slippers, and dental kit too was missing in the washroom, rest everything was there. We asked for dental kits and then they sent that along. Knowing of the fact that we were accompanying kids uth us they kept only 2 towels in the washroom which they added more later on upon requesting again. So it’s a place to make requests only rather than getting something by them. We had a full busy day ahead of us so the hotel served us for sleeping purpose only. We couldn’t get a time to go for a swim or anything else. So we left the hotel on our proposed time. We had great experiences with other Rotana hotels like in Fujairah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi but this one was just an average of the lot. I’ll not strongly recommend this hotel to anyone because of the rude and stiff behavior of the staff.

) :-) Solches Personal findet man sehr selten.

Great hotel in a brilliant location as its bang in the middle of Al Satwa which is home to a load of Pak, Phillipino restaurants, cafes and shops. Awesone location if you love desi food at a cheap price rather than paying mall prices. Ravi Restaurant, Lal Quila Restaurant and Lassi Plaza are all just around the corner from this hotel. We asked for a quiet room and they gave us a room on the 3rd floor which was free from any noise. The only downside to this hotel is if you are after a view then you have to upgrade to a higher cost room to get a better view. The photos I have attached is literally the view from our room. The free shuttle bus only goes from sun-Thurs and only to the dubai mall and la mer beach once a day. LA Mer beach is a 10-15 min walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again 😁😁😁 The additional 2 photos are from outside the hotel. The skyline is amazing as you can see the Burj Khalifa and other sights just by stepping outside the hotel. Also Brands for less literally next door. Home to plenty of designer bargains

Very old hotel .The first impression at the sight of the hotel was defaulting, the photo on the website and in reality are two different things. You go inside and it smells of mold. Our room was on the first floor, I attached the view . Well .The best view of Dubai. Construction goes on all day, day off on Friday. We didn't manage to check in earlier, were waiting at the cafe. The room is large, it smells of humidity. There are no dishes for tea or coffee, you will see paper cups instead, it looks cheap (covid measures) BUT! if you go down to the breakfast buffet, you will drink the same tea from the glassware . On the photo of the “classic room” you will see bathrobes, unfortunately it is ONLY pictures. Slippers were not found in the room either. The cabinets are very old, cheap little kettle and iron. All very poor quality. The pipes need to be cleaned in the bathroom. At check-in, we did not receive any information about the hotel facilities . The Lady took our documents to scan, payment for the tourist tax 120 drh, (I thought we paid all taxes, but no.) Then they offered to sit on the sofas and wait. Information about where our breakfasts would be held, we were not told, I had to go down and find out with me WHERE and WHAT TIME .It also turns out that they have a bus to the beach? Thank you for letting us know. We specially rented a car to go to the beach .(you can find a sign near the elevators with the bus schedule, but we didn’t pay attention to it.) One evening ,we decided to sit in a pub and celebrate my dad's birthday (in advance, he has it in October, but I won't see him, since he lives in Russia, and me in the UAE) We sat until late until 2:00 am. We asked for the bill (700drh- $ 190) And I ask the waiter to put the bill on my room. The waiter did not immediately bring the bill, went to the reception and came to me and said that I HAD to pay the bill on the spot. Since the amount is VERY large, 700 dh. I remind you that we are HOTEL GUESTS . When I went to the reception, the manager is Mohisin said either you pay the bill or set up 1500 drh as a deposit.. AT FIRST . Things like a deposit need to be warned in advance when guests check into the hotel (plus give all the information about the hotel) I have never experienced such humiliation. I did not plan to pay for my father's birthday that evening, but to fall off at the end of our vacation. When asked why I was not warned about the deposit, Mohsin told me I'm sorry, but we have such rules. Excuse me? Sorry for the irresponsible staff ruining my vacation and overall hotel experience? they talked to me as if I had come from the street and not a guest standing in a hotel and spending money there. Mr.Mohsin said that he would write a complaint about his staff? You have a guest at 2:00 am and instead of ,give the over options and solution, you promising to punish your staff? disgusting attitude. If honestly want to move out of here. I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A BAD REVIEW IN MY ALL LIFE. And I would not have written if the night manager had solved the situation in a different way. But I could not forgive such...

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I have to let you know that the staff of the hotel can be a bit annoying, knocking on your door almost every hour, asking if you need something. My check-in experience was unpleasant so was when I did ask for a late check out. The lady that checked me in had the most annoying attitude I have ever seen in any hotel EVER! She was damn right unpleasant, arrogant and rude.

On the fourth day of my stay, I had gone to the reception desk to request for a late check out the following day because my flight out of Dubai was at night, a lot later in the night. I had requested that I be allowed to check out at 7 PM which was very well possible, and I did not even mind paying extra but this same lady refused and allowed me to check out at 4 PM. I did ask her why because I know it is possible for hotels to extend the check-out time of their guests provided they had stayed a minimum of 3 nights but this lady (name withheld as I am still looking for means of getting in touch with the Operations Manager of the hotel) only gave me until 4 PM to check out which I did. I had asked her why it was impossible for me to check out at 7 PM. She answered me by saying that they were expecting a group booking on Saturday and therefore, the room had to be evacuated.

As a result of my early check out before 7 PM, I had to hang around at the lobby and the Spa just to while away time till my pre-arranged limousine came to pick me up at 7 PM for the airport. During the time of my wait, it was coming up to few minutes past 6 PM, I noticed some guests whom I had met during breakfast checked out. I was in disbelief! I decided not to investigate and bid my new friends goodbye.

So as to be clear on the situation I had just witnessed, I asked a staff on duty at the desk if they were expecting a group booking and the staff said "NO." The staff (name also withheld) further mentioned that Saturdays are usually less busy for them and "they" are so sure that there is no group booking coming in. I was beyond shocked. I had to ask another staff the same question and the staff confirmed the earlier fact "no group bookings." So why did the lady deny me a late check out till 7 PM?

Overall experience was good, but could have been perfect if all that is mentioned and seen on the website is actually on site. The Staff at the Pool and Bar areas was beyond fantastic and so were the staff at the restaurants.

I implore the management of the hotel to put qualified and friendly staff at the Front Desk simply because the experience you have as a guest, in any hotel starts from the time you check in and the memory sort of lingers, if ever it would be forgotten. It is certainly not my happiest stay in out of the many I have stayed on my...

We stay here from 22nd-29th May this year. Just me and my son. And from the get go I am telling you we will 100% be going back to this hotel. Originally I booked a smoking room not realizing that this room does not come with a balacany. I told the staff that I wasn’t happy with the room and with no questions they moved us immediately. We had bed and breakfast stay only managed to wake for breakfast on the first day. That was due to us exploring Dubai till late hours 🤣 (beautiful place). Our towels were cleaned daily long side the complementary water tea/coffee. Daily. Bedding changed ever too days. Honestly this hotel and there staff could not do anymore for you if they tried. I had a little issue with the food I orderd at the pool side. Went back to my room the staff was at my door within 10mins putting the situation right for us. They even had cash in there hand to refund for both meals. We came to a mutual decision on that and they also gave my son a free icecream deliverd to our door later on that night. Honestly when I say there hospitality is 100/10. Mark my word. You get fresh towels at the pool on the 5th floor. Everytime you go up there. the stay here was amazing. And like I said previously we are definitely going back but for longer. The shops on the strip just Literally around down the side road. Has a little cat who lives in the air conditioning shop called “tuna”.. my son absolutely loved her probably not relevant to this review but was for our stay. The kios at the side of the air conditioning shop called “teaway” can get the most beautiful fresh Indian foods/fries ect...!! The best fresh cut fruit, and smoothies and milkshakes also for cheap as chips. Lovley people :) anyway I could be here allday talking about how beautiful this country is but one thing I will repeat we are definitely coming back. Thank you for having us jumeria. Room 424. :) it was a pleasure. P.s download the careem app your going...
