Tbh, I did not use most of the facilities so pls do take this review for purely what it is - my personal experience. As you all know, experiences vary so vastly when it comes to hotels.

Right, let's start with the front desk. I was lucky enough to have been received by Ms Shradha. Now this is the kind of experience I had envisioned while checking in at all hotels - Smile on the face, attentive and most importantly, made me feel welcome. Unlike other places in dxb where you feel like you are doing the hotel a favour by staying with them.

So I got an upgrade due to my world of Hyatt membership and got a corner room. Score.

The room for me, was more than spacious. Solo guest. The AC chilled quite quickly. Water pressure was fine, although I would have prefered a slightly wider/bigger showerhead (1st world problems though). They did say we can use the chromecast facility on the TV. Connection was easy through the hotel wifi. Now, the view was fantastic (for dxb standards). Half the sea and half the downtown skyline from afar. The added balcony really added to the ambience. And if you have friendly neighbors, can get to know them as well via the sit out in the balconies.

The hotel feels relatively new. Right next to one of the entrances of La Mer. About 25 to 30 mins from the T3 terminal. About 60 to 70 dirhams. If you walk for about 8 mins, you reach a fairly busy road. So cabs might be easy to get. I ended up using Uber though. Getting to a metro station wasnt that doable for me. There are places like grocery stores etc within maybe 15 mins walking radius.

For food, I only had the Wagyu burger as room service, personally - it was pretty great. 100+ dirhams. Would recommend.

Did not end up using most of their facilities like the gym/spa/pool/breakfast etc. Had really wanted to try out their Japanese resto on the rooftop. Missed out.

Oh, and you have this one staff outside the main door as a valet/welcoming party, Mr. Sayed. He was the picture of positivity!!
