Ravenhill House — Hotel in Belfast

The phrase "home away from home" is often used - but seldom has it held more truth than in describing our recent marvelous stay at Ravenhill House. From the warm comforts of our rooms to the mouth-watering breakfasts provided every morning, each moment of our visit was sheer bliss.

As wonderful as were the accommodations and the delicious meals (very vegetarian friendly!), the sweetest memories are of the warm and welcoming atmosphere provided by Roger and Olive. Throughout the stay, they were always on hand to answer questions, provide insightful pointers for exploring Belfast, and engage in delightful conversation.

A bonus for the modern traveler is that in designing the lovely rooms, the owners kept in mind not only that comfortable furnishings are essential, but also the ability to stay plugged in to technology. Each room features an abundance of outlets and USB ports, making it easy to stay fully charged. Given that we were filming a documentary during our visit, these "extras" proved invaluable.

Ravenhill House is a wonderful B&B! The warm, welcoming service and unbelievably delicious breakfasts were amazing. I truly cannot give the breakfast here more praise! It was amazing. Hosts were knowledgeable and gave great suggestions for things to do around Belfast. We ended up at the Belfast TradFest thanks to our host's mention of it. It was a highlight of our trip! The rooms were okay for us. Unfortunately, the shower pressure was pretty low and the beds were not super comfortable in my opinion. A little too hard/firm for me. We also had some noise from the street. But overall, the rooms were spacious and clean. The location was close to one street with some food and pubs, but it was pretty far from the city center. You need to either take the bus or drive into the city center, which is fine, but parking was pretty expensive in the city. Just something to consider! Overall, lovely stay with amazing hosts and...

Absolutely incredible place to stay! Me and my partner arrived later than we should have but we were greeted with the most welcoming feeling I've ever experienced. House owners Olive and Roger are the most nicest generous people I've ever met. The aroma of freshly cooked sourdough bread wafted through the hallway making my tummy rumble with delight! We got to try the beautiful stuff and it's the best sourdough I've tasted in my travels throughout the continent. The room was beautiful with lots of space. The Victorian interior was utterly stunning, brought me back to my A-Level history days!
