We have good days and bad days but that day must have been a BAD day. The staff were friendly enough but everything just seemed to take so long and seemed very confused when ordering. It must have taken a good 20 minutes to get everything sorted and even then, it wasn’t quite right but by that point, I was happy to just get to back my seat.

Speaking of seats, the placement of the tables outside seemed a bit odd and was highlighted by way of a water feature appearing under the table when it started to rain. Niche but undesirable and unnecessary.

The food was ok but not great. I had the roast beef which was, “alright”. The amount of beef on the plate was staggeringly large (I’m not complaining about that) but it seemed out of balance with the rest of the meal and a bit of quantity over quality. My friend had the chicken burger which he said was really good but we had to send the chips because they had all the appearance of a foodstuff that had been cooked under the hand-dryer in the men’s loo.

The one star for atmosphere is largely based on time of day because it was early afternoon on a Sunday so one star is quite unfair really.

Overall, I’d go back if I was hungover and hungry but it wouldn’t be on the...

Had previously posted a 5 star review but after today felt I needed to change it. Arrived at 1.45pm for food, there was 2 adults and a child, chicken burger, salt and chilli chicken and kids sausage ordered.

At 2.40 there was still no sign of the food, I approached the manager to find out what the hold up was and he informed us that our food was next out.

The food arrived at 2.55pm. The chicken burger was rock hard, the salt and chilli chicken tasteless and the sausages for the child where cremated.

I understand that the world has changed with the pandemic and wouldn't have minded so much if the food was nice and they where busy, but there where very little tables occupied, I genuinely think they forgot about our order and rushed it whenever we asked for an update on it.

Extremely disappointed with it as we would go regular, didn't even receive an apology which I didn't think was very nice, also the kids meal came without ice...

I had a horrible experience will never be returning. Staff were very unhelpful, I specifically told them I had allergies and so I just wanted chicken goujons and chips with no sauce or salad. When the food eventually came they had not listened to me what so ever. The food came with salad and coleslaw. I have an egg allergy and so I politely asked them to change the plate. Staff seemed annoyed and made me feel as if I was an inconvenience, they brought my food back out and I noticed there was still sauce on the chicken. After being reassured everything was fine I reluctantly ate it. Slightly after I noticed I started to get a rash around my mouth and my lips began to swell. Fortunately, I didn’t end up in hospital this time. However, I have sinced developed severe anxiety surrounding my allergies and eating out. They were severely unprofessional and I urge anyone considering to eat here to chose...

The main course on the Sunday carvary was 110% but the starter was a just ok and the desert was very bland, I wouldn't pay for the 3 course due to the blandness of the desert, but as it was Sunday carvary you had a choice or mix of things. I will say again though the main was delicious, I had a mixture of meat, roast beef, turkey ham and stuffing, which was flawless with homemade Yorkshire pudding. If I was to back I probably would just have the main as I hate paying for bland food and it was also a bit over priced for the location and decor of the place, it needs a revamp upstairs in the disco hall where they serve the Sunday carvary.

Great place for any size of function and I have done a few over the years here. It’s clean friendly and the food is nice. There are 3 rooms which are used every weekday and weekends, it’s a place that have a good hardcore clientele and it’s very well run. Door staff are friendly without the feeling of being in your face. It is a safe friendly atmosphere and a must for any sports fan to enjoy the large screens while having a pint of your favourite tipple. My one gripe is if your working there they charge for a coffee, kinda says how tight they are. Most places even offer food never mind a coffee lol
