Medium size carpark on both ends of the hotel and a few under the hotel and it's free to use. Reception is one the 1st floor Lift was out of order! And lt looked like it had been for sometime! Room a good size Shower wasn't over powerful but hot enough Bed super comfortable Wifi free for 30 mins then £3 for 24hrs Location not really close to anything good unless you like wicks or playing football. Would probably stay again if nothing else is available.

This is a hotel with clean rooms and free parking. Looks too good for 2 stars! I got the double room at £25/night, cheaper than similar hotels in the area. The weak points for me were: 1.the access card opened the door after many attempts, 2.the old TV, 3.the table was a bit small and ... 4.the noise produced by the traffic on the highway located very close. I will return to this hotel when I need it!

Clean, comfortable and efficient. Only negatives are no air conditioning which means the window has to stay open to offer a tiny respite from a hot evening, the down side is you are very close to a main road and the noise from this and the retail park setting disturbs you during the evening. I researched the location before booking but it's noisier than expected.

Room did not have air con, just had a desk fan that moved already hot air around the room. Window opened just enough to make sitting by the window the coolest spot in the room. I suppose that if you aren't staying during the summer it may be better, but we all woke up drenched in sweat every morning. We were tempted to prop the door open because of how much cooler the hallway was compared to the room. No outlets for plugs by the bed, only USB and USB-C. Two of our guests had medical devices that they needed to use to sleep at night at risk of not breathing during the night. We ended up disconnecting the heater to use that plug and borrowed a strip from a family member to add more plugs for our phones and devices. Bathroom was serviceable but slippery as one would expect. One of us slipped and slammed our knee against the edge of the tub due to the high step-up; would not feel comfortable using the shower if I was less flexible and balanced than I am. The water oscillated between burning hot and ice cold. WiFi was expensive, ended up using my data and hotspot instead. TV worked, which is a plus. Customer service was fine; when our kettle leaked from the bottom we went to the desk and got a replacement with no fuss. Had an issue with an outlet and felt invalidated in my worries due to the fact that it tripped the breaker and left a smoke smell in the room for at least half an hour. "Family room" feels inaccurate, was a queen bed + 2 cots all lined up with no space between; we ended up moving it to essentially in front of our door, which felt like a fire hazard. Room was clean, but that's essentially the most positive thing I can say. Whoever is cleaning the rooms did an excellent job. May be a good place to stay during the winter, but that would be dependent on if the device we believed to be a heater actually works. I would recommend this location if you want to see a show nearby and there's no other options. There's sidewalks and crosswalks leading to convenience stores and groceries nearby; as an American travelling abroad I wasn't used to not having a microwave or fridge to store food but that's subjective. Ubers are very easy to get from this location, and again, felt very safe due to the security guard who kept watch at night over the car park and front entry. Vending machine in the lobby with drinks and snacks. There's breakfast boxes available to purchase at the front desk, but I didn't...

AVOID this hotel at all cost, the receptionist were horrendous I waited for 5-10 minutes at the reception when my daughter arrived with her bags, It had a sign at the front desk "We are away at the moment will be back in a minute" and it didn't seem like they were going to come anytime soon so she had to call the front desk twice. The receptionist came in and tried to check her in, and she asked the receptionist if she could check in earlier. She said it would be extra £20 when the actual fee is £15 because I checked it on their website. Later on the same day, I checked in with a receptionist called Simran. On the same eveing, I was in the room, and the same receptionist named Simran barged into my room without knocking on the door. She shut my room and went downstairs and came back upstairs with a breakfast box as a complimentary. I asked her why she didn't knock on the door, and she said, " I thought you have checked out," which made me so mad because how did she not know. I was outside my room wasting my time talking to her who didn't even apologise till the end. She was arguing with me raising her voice and said "Do whatever you want." When I told her I will be talking to the manager, I even asked her when will the manager will be available she lied and said they will be available next day morning. Next day, I went to the reception no one was there and had to call again. A lady came and said manager is not back till a week after. The whole hotel experience ruined everything. To make it even worse their lift didn't even work and I had to carry my luggages all the way upstairs to the 3rd floor. What if someone were disable and couldn't use the stairs? As I read the other reviews this problems seems to be very often, staff going into rooms without knocking. SORT OUT YOUR STAFF. It is...

I want to start off by saying the lift has been out of use for half for a year…this could’ve been noted because it would refrain people with any healthy issues from booking. Secondly , i was there for a week & during this stay there was only 1 STAFF at reception everyday. Plenty times i came into the lobby & seen so many visitors standing with bags waiting for the receptionist to return. Thirdly, the rooms had spider webs hanging from the ceiling & the carpet had stains which hadn’t been cleaned out properly leaving a vinegar smell. The shower kept going from cold to boiling hot & when i complained about this the reason was “many people are showing at the same time” however this isn’t as issue that occurs in other hotels so that answer didn’t seem valid. The house keeper seemed over worked & had spoken to me in a tone i didn’t appreciate therefore i’d reported it at reception & asked to speak with the manager. When done so nothing was dealt with, i’d had listed everything i had an issue with my stay & in fact it was flipped on me & after a heated back & fourth i’d said the customer service here is POOR & she had said “you don’t need to stay here”. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Need’s serious maintenance’s ,more staff, an considerate manager & water fixed. I’ve stayed at many travel lodges but nothing...
