Prior to booking the venue Goals staff team called almost weekly to 'check' if I still wanted to hire the space. I felt slightly harrassed and contemplated blocking their calls until I made my mind up regarding booking. I decided to go ahead with the booking which then stopped the calls from Goals staff. I booked and paid for four hours but ended up with three because the function room was a dirty tip upon my arrival to set up. This meant my friends and family were arriving whilst I was still setting up. This wasn't the the ideal situation as I was highly embarrassed having my guests arrive to a half set up room and feeling the need to assist me. This was unfair as I didnt get the full use of my time, because Goals staff didn't seem to be able to stick to a time schedule causing over lapping. I addressed this complaint to three staff members via email, face to face and over the phone. One being a "manager" Sam the other being a supervisor. Neither have bothered to address my issues or even return my calls or emails. This is not only rude and unprofessional but it is infuriating considering I know first hand that the staff are able to use calls to chase bookings to obtain customers monies. Also, I was disgusted by the level of or lack of cleanliness there. The carpet needs either replacing or a good deep clean. Im a disappointed customer who's yet to have my complaints addressed. Poor. I just want to say a massive thank you to the lovely staff at Goals Perry Barr for a fantastic night on Saturday! My birthday happened to fall on the evening of the England V France quarter-finals and was the main reason I looked to book goals as it fit with the theme and they had a big screen for us all to watch it on. Plus its a very convenient location and was easy for all my guests to get to. I had been to parties there before and its a great size room for what I wanted. They even have a buffet room connected to the room which was really convenient. Plenty of comfy seating and a range of drinks on the bar reasonably priced. Vicky was a massive help in the planning process, she really went above and beyond!

Entering into 3rd season at Goals Perry Barr. It’s been a journey, “it’s only a 5 aside football league.” I agree but all the staff are absolute gold! It wouldn’t be the same league if it weren’t for the staff Zak, Vicky(Great People!) Particularly Ant, I personally picked up an injury and went straight to A&E, he was ringing to check how I was the next day, not even on shift! Genuinely cared how I was. He is the good guy of the league and a valuable asset to the Goals company/ granted the league manger but touching base to see my well being when he isn’t even on shift speaks volumes.
