I booked via the app, all straight forward, easy to fallow through including booking for food the app says and you can all eat for(£??.??) so I booked it done, that was so easy, arrived and i'd booked for myself and two children, went into the restaurant are (brewers fayre pub) stood for ages in a queue, and then get charged for the children's food because the evening meal deal doesn't include the child, that was over £18 per child. I was fuming, obviously I had to pay it because I told to kids we'd be eating there as soon as we get there. And we had a 40 minute waite for the food to arrive at the tables. There was no consolation for the app not telling you that you now need to book evening meals for the children, nor tell you your children were not included and they did not seem to care that the app doesn't show this, I will not endorse The Premier Inn, as they obviously don't concern themselves with feeding their guests buy putting themselves in this fake partnership with the brewers fayre as a way out of over charging of kids food x£18 per child when the app says 'you can all eat for' [it's a lie] and they try saying anything to get out of paying the bill for the child's meals, and there was a McDs nearby what's that £5 a meal. I was ripped off,,,, hopefully no...
Read moreThe hotel was very close to Sherwood Forrest & the Park & Ride to Nottingham which was fantastic for us as we were visiting the area for the first time. The reception staff & all other hotel staff we encountered were friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. The rooms were exactly as you would expect, clean, comfortable & serviceable & although there were four of us in a family room we did not feel overly cramped. Breakfast was chaos due to the hotel being full but once again the staff did their utmost to accommodate our needs including one vegetarian & two people with dairy allergies. There is no lift in the building so it is essential that you contact the hotel upon booking if you require a ground floor room & there are no walk in showers, every room has a bath with a shower above it so disabled access can prove problematic if required. Overall we have absolutely no complaints about our two night stay & we will definitely be using...
Read moreMy group's stay at the hotel was good - Our company chooses Premier Inn as it offers consistency in its service and quality. The bar and restaurant connected to the hotel, however, was extremely bad. During our dinner, we had all ordered desert, however after finishing our meals we waited just under an hour for our table to finally be cleared. The resteraunt at that time was almost empty, and atleast 4 waiters/waitresses were walking around clearing other tables, polishing tables, one even made himself and a colleague coffees and chatted for a while, all whilst ignoring our situation and avoiding eye contact with us, until we made a blatant show that we would in fact like our deserts nearly 2 hours after ordering it. This complete disregard for customer service very much tarnished an otherwise pleasant stay. Premier Inn should strongly investigate the service offered at their...
