The Old Crow — Hotel in Bristol

Just finished a four night stay. After reading the reviews I thought I would add my forepenneth! For the price it’s good value, the rooms are perfectly adequate and the shared bathrooom/shower was clean The evening meal that comes with the rate was lovely! Proper home cooked grub Yes it’s a locals pub….but all were perfectly friendly towards me and the owners/staff were very helpful There was a comment below about horrendous traffic noise…..it’s on a main road into Bristol, Google Map a location before you stay! Note…you are staying above a PUB so accept that there may be music and the odd sing song….by 11:15 every night is was quiet For the price and the fact you get fed and it’s family ran, it worked for me - will certainly come back...

8 of us stayed in The Crow for 9 months. it was a perfect home from home. all the meals were plentyful and very tasty and if it wasnt what you fancied the cook(Angie) would always do you something else. The rooms were warm and cleaned often, although not all rooms were en suit the bathroom was centrally located on the landing. In the bar there was a good selection of drinks available and all very reasonably priced. The locals were always very friendly and always a good laugh. Lou, Mike,Katie and all the girls looked after us in our stay there and we wouldnt hesitate to stay there again. We are contractors and work all over the country and its always good to find somewhere...

Staying one night but never again, the radiator doesn't work in the room the traffic noise is terrible and as for the noise from the bar downstairs it's is unbearable, the one shared shower is pretty horrendous although it runs hot and with good pressure. The bed is very uncomfortable its like being on a camp bed, however on a good note the evening meal that was supplied was tasty with good portions but alone is not enough to...
