Star Cafe — Restaurant in Bristol

Well that was a fun trip to star cafe in henbury asked for a cup of tea and 1 piece of toast I was told £1.80 for cup of tea and 70p so £2.50 I then asked if he had marmite he said yes so I asked if I can have one. Did not ask how much it was just paid them. He brought marmalade not marmite and then realised they charged £1.80 for the little marmalade. I went up and asked how come it was £1.80 for the marmalade he responded it was because I wanted to put it on my toast. I said don’t bother I will just have my toast A customer started shouting at me saying they are nice guys in there and throw money at me. The staff member just stood there did not say anything. I had not been in there for a long time as when visiting previously and found the staff rude cups were dirty and had chips in there. The Star Café only opened this week on Tuesday 3rd April 2018, I was unwell, do not usually go into cafes! I went in for a cup of tea, was very surprised, it is NOT a greasy spoon. It is very clean, lovely décor, received a lovely warm welcome. I ordered my tea, and was very relaxed, so I went to order a breakfast, it was lovely, NOT OVER PRICED, and NOT greasy. I think the star cafe. Is a great cafe. The food is great well cooked and nicely presented. The staff are friendly and helpful they always ask you if your ok. That you are happy. The cafe cafe is clean and very nicely decorated. And there is wheel chair access. But getting though the door maybe a little tight.i have been to the star cafe three time and I have been very happy with the service and the food....
