Lost count how many times we've stayed in this cottage and the adjoining Manuka cottage. We keep coming back because we know what we'll get, a spotlessly clean, well equipped cottage with everything we need for a weeks self catering in comfort. If there are any issues Julia and Alexander (the owners) are just across the way to help with anything. On top of that, the location is perfect. Spectacular views of the Cairngorms. This was our third holiday in Blaeberry Cottage in the past 5 years, and it gets better each time. The thought and detail that has gone into providing the most comfortable experience goes without saying. Not to mention the incredible views. This has to be the best located cottage in Aviemore. Although on the edge of town it is just 5 minutes walk into town. Really nice touches eg wine in fridge, biscuits, chocolate bars, fresh milk, tea and coffee available for our arrival. Warm and draught free Cottage, all essentials available in kitchen, toys in shed and really does feel like a home from home. 4 stars as slightly let down by stains on curtains and bedding, black fingerprints on white doors, dirty living room rug and creaky, wobbly beds; all of which can be easily rectified.
