East Wing Cottage - Cardigan Castle — Hotel in Great Britain

Disappointing. The castle is lovely and the staff are great. The room itself was tiny and rather musty and the pillows/bedding smelt although the sheets were spotless. The ensuite bathroom was appreciated however the sink was not level so if you placed anything on the side it fell in. As stated no television which isn’t a problem but at this price point the facilities to have a hot drink in your room would be nice rather than using the communal kitchen downstairs. Nearly lovely but not the room we were allocated...

Pleasant ensuite rooms with a shared, fully equipped kitchen area. So lovely to have access to the castle grounds at night. Really handy for local restaurants, cafés and shopping. My tiniest issue was that I was chilly and had no way to put the heating on at night and it was quite a slope for my wheelchair on our arrival... although once in there was an easier route onto the main street. That said, it's not every day you get to stay...

When you have the opportunity to stay in a castle then cardigan castle is certainly a place to stay.

The East Wing is an elegant sized house with several rooms for accommodation.

The shower is amazing and so easy to use.

The room is quite large with comfy beds and warm.

There is a communal kitchen downstairs to make a drink which is well kept.

The grounds are lovely with river views.
