3 star because Customer service was great. Went the extra mile for the kids. The room was clean. Parking is diabolical at this place stayed here 2 nts and paid over £16 for parking at sainsburys....as there were no parking at the hotel. Its a shame they carn't do a deal with the people that own the car park, with premier inn seen as though they're guaranteed customers from premier in. Such a shame as it is very expensive. We waited about in other places so we didn't have to pay that much parking. Not great when you have kids this was a major issue and needs looking at. The food we got from the restaurant (2 x Pizzas) to take up to the room was shocking for the price they charged!!! The Pizzas were nothing more than a couple of £3/4 frozen pizzas that they warmed up. Ive had better from a supermarket! £21 We paid for these, I nearly died. Not good at all and never again. One broken lift! Guests were not using the lifts safely and was cramming in the lift. Myself and 2 children had to step out and use the stairs at one point (5 Floors up) because 3 people wanted to get in the lift as well as one other person in the lift already with myself and 2 children. The space was too small to be having 7 people in with no masks!!! Else where there where measures in place for one family per lift at any one time. Not here, No measures were abided here although some where visible. Everything...
Read moreI chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the office I was going to work in for the duration of my stay. I had a room on the third floor. The overall look & feel are nice, the staff was very pleasant and helpful, but there were some things which frustrated me and lowered my comfort: the only window in the room did not have a handle and couldn't be opened, but it didn't close properly either, just enough so all the noise from the nearby street was very clearly audible. Internet (the complimentary one) was very slow and kept disconnecting. There was no mini-fridge in the room. The walls are very thin and during the night, people slamming doors to their rooms or in the hallway would not only wake me, but the wall lamp next to the bed vibrated from it every time. I could also hear my neighbor talking in his room (regular voice). I also found the wardrobe space (it's not really a wardrobe, more like a micro-dressing area) quite small and was only barely able to fit my stuff for a week in it. In the bathroom, the ventilation fan was connected to the lighting so in order to ventilate I'd need to leave the light on for 1h or so, otherwise the bath would just stay steamy. Opening the bathroom door wasn't a solution either since the room window couldn't be opened: it would just make the entire hotel...
Read moreMy wife and I have stayed at the Maidenhead Premier Inn on many occasions in recent years when visiting my daughter and her partner who live close by in Maidenhead. ||This weekend we stayed to also attend the Oasis gig at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 26th July. The gig was superb!||The room was as always, clean and functional. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Premier Inn has everything you need. The Breakfasts, as always, were superb. My only request would be for the hotel to provide a beaker/ glass in the bathroom for use. I did ask for an extra pillow and a beaker and both were supplied.||We bumped into Chris in the breakfast room on the Sunday morning. We have met him on every occasion we have stayed. This gentleman is a credit to Premier Inn and himself, his service goes above and beyond. He loves his work and interaction with customers. He, put simply is such a courteous, helpful, lovely, caring man. I was pleased we could catch up with him.||Premier Inn offer comfort and quality at an affordable price. You do have to park at the local Sainsbury store but it's not too much hardship and a walk of a few hundred yards. Premier Inn Maidenhead is in an excellent location to access the nearby railway station and all amenities.||Well done to all at premier Inn Maidenhead,...
