This is a great place to stay, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Spotlessly clean, in a very quiet and peaceful location, deep in the beauty of the Cairngorms National Park. Nick and Cris made us feel very much at home, so relaxing, the bed and bedding, omg, (you know how important this is for a good night's sleep right) no concerns here! great night's sleep, super comfortable, coupled with a nice shower. To kick the new day off a fantastic breakfast cooked order was served, whilst being able to watch the pheasants, woodpeckers and red squirrels feeding in the garden, great quality local produce, the haggis was a particular favorite. The whole breakfast was complimented with the best coffee I’ve ever had, made with freshly ground Highland Roast. This is a great location to reach out to the west coast, with a particular favorite on the way being the Pattack falls for a morning hike and then on to Fort William and up onto the A82 to the Glencoe mountain range with breathtaking views. Other nearby locations to note would be the Cairngorm Mountains and a walk in the Glenmore forest park and beach of Loch Morlich. We’ll be back for sure, planning to start and finish here for the...

Incomparable Excellence And Friendliness

So sad to leave the beautiful Ravenscourt Guest House. Cris and Nic were so welcoming and super accommodating throughout our six day stay of a seven week trip. With an ethos of making whatever we needed happen, they seemed to be always available - with a smile and cheery conversation. Breakfast was perfection. Yum! Their guest lounges included a quiet room and a dog friendly TV room – which we loved. We shared stories and often enjoyed tear inducing laughter over a glass of wine with our hosts and other guests. Wonderful memories we will forever cherish.

We so look forward to see Cris and Nic’s exciting plans, for their new business, develop. They have such amazing talent and personality we’re sure recognition including awards will follow. We highly recommend staying at Ravenscourt. But be quick to book before word gets out. We will be back to this exceptional and special place! Thank you...

Eating breakfast at Ravenscourt was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was not only fresh and delicious, but served in wonderfully generous portions. We loved everything on our plates, but the home-made items were highlights! These included the square sausage, tattie scone, and the bright, flavorful marmalade. Each bite felt like comfort and care!||The service was exceptional: kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The family who runs the restaurant is a delight to chat with! They are full of local knowledge, especially about the nearby forest, which added a deeper connection to the area.||The setting itself was just as memorable. We dined in the glass-enclosed room of the beautiful, historic manor. We were able to watch birds flit about the bird feeders while enjoying breakfast. It was the perfect way to begin the day! I highly recommend visiting this...

A hotel in Grantown cancelled our booking without letting us know. We were in Grantown with nowhere to go. Ravenscourt were fantastic, they took us in and treated us like royalty. The rooms are beautiful, (forgot to take a photo) but tea, coffee pods, hot chocolates, biscuits, tea cakes and amenities kits all in the room to make your stay the best it could be. Breakfast was amazing, I had the chieftain (pictured) but the Cranachan Pancakes were soo tempting. The service was second to none. You wanted for nothing they had thought about all the small details. Umbrellas by the door, shoe horns, enjoyable books in the lounge. I could not recommend this hotel enough. If you are going to Grantown, avoid the Garth and book the Ravencourt !
