Riverside Stays — Hotel in Great Britain

We stayed for 3 nights while we attended a family wedding. We were very pleasantly surprised. In a nice area, a quiet cul de sac, just off the high st. The room wasn't massive, but perfectly adequate., with sole use of the bathroom. The room was tidied every day, and clean towels supplied. Breakfast was continental, with a good range. We never went hungry! We were able to help ourselves to tea/coffee, and were able to store stuff in the fridge. The house was decorated beautifully, and was exceptionally clean. The hosts were a lovely couple, very friendly, but not intrusive. They work from home, so were on hand 4 any problems etc. There was free Wi-Fi, and parking. The area was a fairly new estate, very quiet, beside a little stream. A very beautiful area. Its a 5mins walk into the town centre, where there are pubs and eateries. Bit like staying at your aunts house, room immaculately clean, very comfortable mattress and duvet for an excellent nights sleep, but not the sort of room i would want to stay in for to long, unless you like lying in bed all day. Lisa was very accommodating waiting me to arrive later than expected and getting up early to serve a good breakfast which you can preselect. The name suggest a quite charming riverside cottage, the reality is a new build on a small estate, close to a brook. its not 5 stars but great value and worth 4 and a half with most people topping it up to 5 for the friendly service and nice touches with the toiletries...
