12/02/2022 - came today under a valentines booked treat by my hubby, the cafe was packed as always and the girls serving were super efficient! We both had the Jammie dodger hot chocolate which is a whopper on its own, but you can't go to rosebuds without getting cake so we had generous slices of the white chocolate & raspberry and cookies & cream cake! DELISH doesn't cut it!! Thank you ❤️❤️ Beautiful cafe! Greeted, asked to sign in via the NHS app. Taken to our seats and shown the menu. Drinks came very quickly and the pot of tea for 1 was very generous, 3 cups! I had a raspberry lemonade which was very refreshing and sweet on a hot day. I had beans on toast which came out on the thickest slice of bread I've ever seen, it was delicious! The fry up as you can see was huge, the bacon and the cheesy hash brown was amazing. Cannot wait to go back and next time I'll have a milkshake with my breakfast because, why not! Also the cakes are brilliant too. Great prices. Lovely staff. Thank you

I am not usually in the area however am here for work. I wanted some breakfast so did a google search and Rose’s was nearby. It appeared to be a cake shop but I tried it anyways as they said they did breakfast. I have no regrets, the food was great and the service was ten out of ten. I did wait a little while for my food however it was understandable as it was a busy hour. I ordered bacon sausage and toast and a few minutes later a waitress told me there was no sausage left. I was offered hash brown instead and whilst I don’t normally like hash brown I did say yes. I surprisingly loved the hash brown and will get this again, and most likely will come back in the morning. The rest of the food was great too.

I’ve been here a few times, it’s a lovely cafe with a lovely choice of breakfast, brunch and lunch options. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The decor is that of a little village tea shop and tea is served in teapots with floral china cups and saucers. They even put my girls orange into teapots so they got the tea shop experience. Gluten free and vegan options are available. There is always a good choice of home made cakes including gluten free. There’s a free public car park around the back. It gets very busy so booking is as useable. Take away also available.

All I can say is, oh dear. I went there a while ago with a friend. I asked for eggs Benedict without looking at the menu. A reasonable request. "Nope",not on the specials anymore as the girl pointed to the breakfast specials on the board. There were none! Hmmmmm, oooookay. My friend asks for an omelette. Two minutes later the girl returns, "sorry, our chef cant do an omelette!" What???? Its a single pan on a hob and one ingredient! Surely you have the facility as you make other cooked items requiring a hob of some description. We grin and cant really see anything we want, but order poached eggs on toast and debate the fact that we should have left at that point, but we were hungry. The food turns up. OMG! One of my eggs is almost solid and the other is so under cooked it looked like someone had sneezed on the plate. Gross! We eat as we're hungry and decide this was a mistake and decide never to repeat the sorry experience again. Poor cooking ability doesn't excuse you from turning out food like this. You are a business and should be turning out consistently good food, not barely edible food. My friend also ordered mushrooms and hash browns with his food, but alas they never appeared. We gave them a couple of minutes to get the extras, but no, they weren't coming and we couldn't catch anyones attention. Probably a lucky escape. We just ate, as by the time they'd have got their act together, he'd have finished. It all seems a bit chaotic (right hand, left hand). Bad experience. I wont be going back. Poor menu Poor...

Overall, I must say, this doesn't quite cut it as a nice family friendly tea-room that you may find elsewhere. There appears to be no such thing as service with a smile here.

We walked in following a booking and, initially, one of the waitresses just looked at us and walked right on by. I understand they may have been serving others, but a simple "sorry, just give me a minute" is better than completely blanking paying customers. Later, the same waitress knocked something off her desk and left it due to having things in her hands, I picked it up for her and didn't even get some much as a smile for helping. Sort of people that just walk through a door you hold for them.

Food came out at different times and wasn't really worth the prices you pay. Coffee was somehow cold and, again, wasn't worth the price.

The only real positive was that it's decorated somewhat nicely. Shan't be heading...
