Shefford Tandoori — Restaurant in England

Not from the the area but been recommended this place various times and this was the second time I have been here and the second time I have been disappointed.

I would’t mind if the food came out average but found the food quality poor. The one positive thing is that it came with plenty of meat in the dishes but just seemed poor on taste and quality but everything els just fell below par.

I will mention it was a Friday night and they were extremely busy and things like this do happen occasionally wherever you may be but this is the second time and probably won’t be returning.

Service - Ok Curries - Poor Naan - Very small Meat - Plenty but tough Sauce - Tasted like it was out of a supermarket jar.

To top it off when spending over £50 on a take away and don’t even end up with any poppadoms was also was dissapointing, not that they have to put any in but first time in all my years that I haven’t had some poppadoms on...

I’m not normally one for doing reviews, but I thought in this case I would, as I wouldn’t want people to be disappointed like I was.

I absolutely love a curry, but I’ve got to say this is right down in my rankings. I’ve only recently moved to the area so I read the reviews first and they were mostly positive, but I’ve got to agree with the last one which was 1 star. The quality of the meat is not what I expected from a nice curry house. I had lamb but it didn’t taste of anything and had zero texture. Almost like it had been cooked for too long. If you had put it in front of me without saying, I would not have known it was lamb.

Won’t be quite as harsh though as the naan was nice and the guys in there seemed like top blokes. Just the food isn’t up to scratch for me. I’ll try the other one round the...

My family ate here for my birthday meal and it was a real let down. There were six of us and we love indian food and eat at many local restaurants. This was the worst we've had in years. The food came out looking radio active the quality of the chicken and the lamb was terrible. Me and my wife were embarrassed as we had booked the restaurant. We barely touched any of the food and had a £180 bill to pay. We went for a drink after over the road at the White Hart pub and heard a rumour that the cook had changed. We've had good curries and average curries before and this was just garbage. I don't leave bad reviews... but this was extremely disappointing. There's no hard feelings towards the waiters they were great but generally would of been better off with a tescos...
