Liked: There was a Person on reception Price - very affordable for non electric camping As a gale was blowing in, I was offered a variety of places to pitch my tent Lots of water taps Walking distance to the village and handy for Abertyfi Very tidy well kept site apart from little stream which had bits of rubbish blown into it. Loos and showers clean and very spacious Whole site is flat so no issue getting a flat pitch

Disliked: The reception person greeted me but was not available immediately. I had to wait more than 5 mins for her to finish a meeting in another room There are bright lights all night on every electric hookup on every pitch . You need an eye mask to be able to sleep There was no freezer available for ice packs for campers. There was a fridge with an icebox in the games room but no plug on the end of its cable. Maybe campers had done it? The site is windy but has hardly any windbreaks planted. A gale blew up. One double socket available on whole site was located in games room for drying your hair or charging a phone but its fair to say that would not be an issue if you paid for electric hookup.. Disliked: Lack of somebody to greet you and check you in knocked on reception door no answer had called all three numbers no answer just drove in found a pitch which looked empty had no idea as to where the rubbish disposal chemical waste where located toilets were cleanish but had one roll of toilet paper between 5 cubicles spoke with a permanent resident she expressed you may see somebody Monday if your lucky wasn’t the most correctly run site feel complete lack of attention to camping motor home paying customer relations ,if they were away as seemed like it why not email to explain which pitch your at generic email of facilities etc etc as been to other sites they either text you or put up a sheet in the notice board saying pitch no against your name for a large site poor really when the owner arrived all she was instrested in was getting the balance of payment nothing about site local stuff etc and was off season so wasn’t like there was...

Liked: Site convenient, close to beach and center or Tywyn. Facilities fantastic with toilet block and showers, mostly clean but after a busy, hot weekend, was in need of a small tidy up but everything you needed was on site. The pitches were well kept and extremely spacious and Flat! Great scenic views.

Disliked: Arrived, as a party of 4 (3 Separate bookings) within booking time, owner wasn't present. Tried to call several times to arrange a pitch and payment for our stay after several hours ride. No answer. Decided to find a pitch ourselves for the night. When owner came to collect remaining payment due around 8am, didn't believe we had booked, wouldn't listen to my partner who advised we'd booked via PitchUp and was quite rude, demanded payment for the full party in one payment which was inconvenient for us, but did so anyway.
