What can we say , spent 3 nights Thursday to Sunday at this wonderful hotel.|On arrival we was greeted by Richard the owner who helped us carry our bags in to the reception area and immediately made us feel very welcome . |Check in was speedy and informative and Richard again took our bags to our room and showed us all the facilities.|We were in room 2 Tivoli (ilovit), which was so elegantly decorated and had its own spa facilities to include a hot tub , huge double bath , steam shower room, huge Tv and all usual Coffee and tea making . Lovely touches like swan folded towels, dressing gowns , fresh flower petals and chocolates left in room each day too.|The room and hotel was spotlessly clean .|Bar was well stocked with plenty of wines , gins , beers to choose from and Richard and Lynne even having a few drinks with us on the Thursday night which was really nice . The general vibe is like a B and B but actually being the quality of a high end 5star hotel.|Breakfast was superb, fresh tea leaf pots of tea , lovely superbly cooked full breakfasts with the best ingredients (sausages to die for). So much other choices aswell , something for everyone.|Special shout out to Catherine who looked after us so well on the Saturday night as we decided to eat at the hotel which really didn’t disappoint, the food was as good as any top bistro or restaurant we have been to in the area ,fillet steak and salmon fillet to die for and homemade cheescake was delicious. Catherine who not only manages bookings, covers reception and waits on , does some of the cooking and is some chef I can tell you, was a lovely evening and again so friendly to have a chat over a couple of drinks at the bar . Read moreVery good small hotel but with very large posh rooms. We were in room 3 the sugar suite. It came with a lounge, a dining table, and entertainment centre and a bathroom which was your own personal spa. The bathroom consisted of a 2 person hot tub, a steam room, shower and heated stone recliners. The hot tub had a TV in the wall but only one position has a very good position. You could still watch it in either position. You had your own starry night lights above the heated recliners as well. The breakfast was very good with the poached eggs cooked well and the bacon and sausage of very good quality. Upon arrival we had a glass of prosecco at the bar and the towels were folded into swans on the bed. We got breakfast in the room one morning which was really good. You also get 2 dressing gowns in the room. The only small bits of advise I would have for the hotel is they didn't really show us how the smart tv or sky worked and the hot tub I had to download the manual for it as it wasn't very warm. From the manual I found it was in sleep mode. I managed to get it in the right mode and warmed up in super quick time. The tv had 2 blue ray players under it and a sound bar. The sound bar was ok but not great. Only one blue ray player was plugged into the tv. The tv had smart tv but we only had sky remote and blue ray remotes so getting the smart tv to be smart was difficult. However you get Wi-Fi so it was easy to plug your own firetv stick in and get your movies on Netflix etc. You also get FULL sky tv. SPORT'S AND MOVIE'S. You have a 's radio stereo too and I think it could connect an iPod and send its sound output to other speakers in the room but again due to no technical instructions for the room it didn't get used. The lack of electrical instructions could be an issue to non technical people. Yes it's expensive £280+ but you get a nice bedroom and big bathroom spa and...
Read moreExcellent hotel with lovely room. We stayed in Room 6 Ti Amo which was just simply amazing. Spa bath with own personal steam room just opposite. Cinema room with large screen wall mounted tv and Bose sound bar. Leather reclining seats (electric) which were excellent to kick back and catch up on the television. The main bedroom also had a nice large wall mounted tv for watching movies on via Netflix if you log in to your account.|The outdoor area was nice and secluded with own personal hot tub which was lovely to relax in on the night. A little sun trap during the day and lovely place to sit with morning coffee.||Meal in the restaurant was delicious on the evening too. We had the fillet steak and my wife is extremely fussy when it comes to steak and I am quite particular as I have mine Blue and lots of places don’t quite get what blue is. This hotel hits the nail bang on the head. |The chef lady (so sorry didn’t get her name) was really friendly and made sure we were well looked after in the restaurant. Food was delicious 5*. The breakfast was absolutely amazing too. Good freshly cooked sausages, bacon, poached eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomato and fried bread which is a rarity these days!!!All delivered to the room for a reasonable extra charge.||The staff were all really friendly and courteous and the lady on reception (so sorry didn’t get her name either) was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed including extra fried bread the next day. She was lovely and very welcoming and with a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival too. She was a true credit to the place and myself and the wife will most definitely be back!!||The hotel is a credit to the owners and staff and I can honestly say we have never received customer service as good as we had. It’s very rare you come...
