City Mom In The BurbsCity Mom In The Burbs
This establishment deserves 10 stars!!!! My husband and I travels extensively. And we are loyal to Starwood properties which is now Marriott. This was our first trip to London to celebrate my 60th birthday and our anniversary with our children for total of 9 days. My husband’s reservation experience was not the best. Due to my husband’s status with the company, upgrading request has seldom been denied. We requested a suite with connecting room since we have our adult children with us for the convenience. Not only were we denied but the response time was not satisfactory. We thought about changing our stay at another hotel but it was too late. We checked in and the front desk manger did tried to accommodate our upgrade request but none was available. But the story doesn’t end there. Ania - With my husband’s status we have to access to the lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. Our first morning breakfast, we met Ania (beverage and food manager) she approached us with the most welcoming smile and asked she can get anything other than what was available at the lounge, my husband asked for hash brown and within minutes Ania had them at our table. And from day one, Ania and her crew ( Abdul, Chung, Rebecca and Eloise) make sure that my husband had his hash browns ready every morning. We were suppose to have afternoon tea at the Lounge one day and missed the time, Ania had Rebecca served us when we arrived at 6pm. Ania never short of surprising and showered us with beautiful, thoughtful and meticulous treats delivered to our room just about everyday. Ania’s dedication to the guests is UNMATCHED!!! This isn’t just a job for her, this is family. As she stated “this is how she welcomes guests to her home”. Mohammed - concierge desk, there were a few we have interacted with and they were all extremely helpful and superb, but I had the most interactions with Mohammed. He was funny, helpful and patient with my questions. Nick/story teller/ doorman- he is the best story teller, he had a funny story to tell us every time while waiting for a taxi. We have never had such experience with a doorman. We were absolutely delighted with his stories and his kind and sweet personality. We returned to the hotel one day after dealing with bad weather, our children had a beautiful treat waiting for them in their room. We have NEVER experienced This level of thoughtfulness anywhere else. These amazing teams are all about making MEMORIES!!! This experience at this establishment is beyond words. Our sincere gratitude and thanks to EVERYONE. You have made my 60th birthday and our anniversary a landmark of memories. Those I have mentioned are only the few. Everyone we have encountered always greeted us with the warmest and most sincere hello and smiles.

My recent stay at JW Marriott Grosvenor House exceeded all expectations. As a Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I was delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to an executive suite, which elevated my experience to new heights. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The executive suite was nothing short of breathtaking, boasting elegant furnishings, luxurious amenities, and stunning views of the city skyline. Throughout my stay, the level of service provided by the staff was impeccable. From dining recommendations to arranging transportation, they anticipated my needs and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The hotel’s central location made it convenient to explore London’s attractions, and the concierge desk was invaluable in providing insider tips and recommendations. The JW Marriott Grosvenor House truly embodies luxury and sophistication. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience in the heart of London. My experience at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Executive Lounge was also nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the lounge, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that exceeded my expectations. The ambiance exudes elegance and sophistication, providing the perfect setting for both business meetings and leisurely relaxation. The plush furnishings, tasteful decor, and panoramic views of the city create a truly luxurious atmosphere. The culinary offerings in the Executive Lounge are simply superb. From gourmet breakfast options to delectable hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in the evening, every dish is expertly crafted and beautifully presented. The attentive staff ensure that guests’ needs are met with promptness and care, making each visit a memorable experience. What truly sets the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Executive Lounge apart is the level of personalized service. The staff go above and beyond to cater to individual preferences, making guests feel valued and appreciated. Whether you’re staying at the hotel for business or pleasure, a visit to the Executive Lounge is a must. It epitomizes luxury, comfort, and unparalleled service, making it the perfect retreat in the heart of London.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. Despite its advertised standards, the service and overall management were far from acceptable for a property claiming to offer 5-star accommodations. 1. Room and View Issues: • At check-in, I was given Room 137, which had a horrible view. I had to spend one night in that room before it was changed. • The reception informed me that the hotel was fully booked, but I fail to understand why they would assign such a room to anyone in the first place. • Having to pack and unpack twice was an unnecessary and frustrating inconvenience. 2. Service Issues: • The rooms were not up to 5-star standards. • I had to wait over 10 minutes for room service or reception to answer my calls. • I requested an update for my reservation through the concierge, but they never bothered to follow up or inform me if my request was met. 3. Unfulfilled Requests: • I sent an email five days before my arrival with special requests, including a birthday cake. None of these requests were acknowledged or fulfilled. 4. Overcharges and Billing Issues: • Upon checkout on December 9, I realized I was charged twice for the same items ordered in my room. Despite paying immediately for the services during my stay, I was still billed again at checkout. • I have been emailing the hotel since my checkout to request an invoice and resolve the double charges, but there has been no response. This experience was highly unprofessional and frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking reliable service or a luxury experience.
