Title: A Luxurious Stay at London Park Lane Marriott
Rating: ★★★★★
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the London Park Lane Marriott, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warmth and exceptional service that lasted throughout my entire stay.
The location of the hotel is superb, situated right on Park Lane with stunning views of Hyde Park. The convenience of being within walking distance to some of London's iconic landmarks, such as Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly Circus, made exploring the city a breeze.
Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by its elegance and sophistication. The tasteful decor and attention to detail created a cozy and inviting ambiance. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The plush bedding and comfortable mattress ensured a restful night's sleep, while the modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV and high-speed Wi-Fi, provided both entertainment and convenience.
One of the highlights of my stay was the impeccable service provided by the hotel staff. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Whether it was assisting with restaurant recommendations, arranging transportation, or simply providing a warm smile, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident throughout my stay.
Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a delightful experience. The culinary offerings were diverse and of exceptional quality. From the hearty breakfast buffet to the delectable dinner options, each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing both local and international flavors. The attentive staff and elegant ambiance further enhanced the overall dining experience.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center was well-equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, allowing me to maintain my exercise routine while away from home. Additionally, the spa facilities offered a tranquil retreat, providing a range of indulgent treatments to relax and rejuvenate.
I must also mention the stunning views from the hotel's rooftop terrace. The panoramic vista of London's skyline, particularly during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking. It provided the perfect backdrop for enjoying a refreshing cocktail and taking in the city's beauty.
Overall, my experience at the London Park Lane Marriott was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, attentive service, and prime location made it an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a first-class experience in the...
Read moreJust finished a week stay. Here are my take a ways: If checking in early, make sure they are giving you the room you had reserved. The woman who checked us in, Bada Lee, gave us a horrible room which was much smaller than our reserved room, run down and had no mirrror. We had to repack all of our things and move the first night we were there. Additionally, communication is lacking because once we had arranged to move after returning from our dinner, the new people on shift hadn’t heard anything about it. They add a 5% gratuity each day. I am not a fan. Firstly, we tip at the end of our stay and we tip graciously. I would much rather tip personally and to the people who deserve it and ensure that they get it rather than a blanket charge added to my bill that they may or may not ever see. Our room cleaning service was definitely not adequate. Day after day dirty glasses were left in our room after cleaning. There was mold around the tub and the toilet paper was never replaced so that we had to request it from the desk. Also, they must have never checked the fridge because the temperature was so low that the food we had purchased and kept in there spoiled after one day. Very disappointing since we had spent a good amount of money on it. Location is good. Tube is right on the corner and taxi stand right outside. Oxford St is around the corner and Selfridges 2 blocks down. The gentlemen at the door never missed a beat. Always held the door, opened the door of our taxis and would run around the corner to get us a taxi if one was not outside. And they always smiled. The real stars of the show are in the restaurant which has very good food. We had breakfast every day and dinner a few times. Vivian was excellent. He always wanted to please us. However, Martha was absolutely exceptional. They should be putting her into management. She had our drinks waiting for us, remembered everything we loved to eat, our allergies etc. she made us feel welcome and cared about in a very genuine way. As someone who dines out often, this type of service is rare and should be commended and celebrated. She was the true highlight of our stay and the main reason we would come back. My mother and I were...
Read moreBeautiful and Inviting Hotel The Park Lane is a beautiful and luxurious hotel. At the time of this writing it had been remodeled a relatively short time ago. Even more recently than that the gym and pool were remodeled. Beautifully appointed the hotel still maintains an inviting and welcoming feel (even with some rather odd modern art pieces). I rented a room with 2 beds and was pleased with the space and the ease to maneuver through it. The bathroom was gorgeous. The bathroom only had a shower, which honestly was fine. The toilet included a bidet and a heated seat! The lounge, which is accessible for higher level reward members, was charming and spacious. The chairs were a bit on the small size if your rear-end is even slightly above the average size. They had a lovely selection of snacks and good dinners served nightly. If those don't satiate you, then the in hotel restaurant (Lanes of London) certainly will have something to satisfy your palate. Their food was delicious and reasonably priced for London. The location was great if you are looking for a place to stay while exploring London. It is situated on the same corner as the Marble Arch Station servicing the Central Line of the Underground. This allowed for easy access to the heart of London with minimal transfers. I think the longest trip back to the hotel from "the river" was about 30 minutes. You are also located across the street from Hyde Park and on Oxford Street, which has some of the finest shopping available – if that's your thing. If you are driving your own car, there is no onsite, or even streetside parking. You must park in a garage a block away, which honestly isn't as far as it might sound. However, the parking is crazy expensive. Also, it can be difficult to find as the entrance is not on Oxford Street, where you might expect, but what feels like the back of the hotel on what amounts to something slightly larger than an alley. The hotel and restaurant staff were all outstanding. Friendly, welcoming, helpful and courteous. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel anyone needing a place in London, who might also want a bit of a...
