This place is the God awfulest place I have ever walked into with the intention of staying the night. I enter the door to a horrid stench of something between mildew, mold, moisture and old cigarette smoke. Then as I am checking in and not before when booking or even before I could cancel and book at another facility they tell me, (I struggle to walk and have a handicap placard) I am on the 3rd floor no elevator. Which would not have mattered because they literally don't have a single room you can access without climbing steps. Even the first floor has steps you have to go down. Oh but if you think it can't get worse....hold my beer...I struggle up the stairs in the heat because even though they have units in the hallway and steps area they weren't running. Nope, 110 degrees outside and they have the windows open. Open the door to our room expecting a little respite from the heat and nothing. They had been in the room because the light was on but they neglected to kick on the AC while they were in there. Not even on low. I turn on the AC on high and quite literally it took 8 hours to cool the room enough to be able to sleep. Save your money and do not stay here. I am including pictures of the bathroom which was not clean. Not a single bar of soap in sight and no shampoo or conditioner either with which to sanitize my hands after using the toilet which was growing mold and so disgusting I had to squat to use it. I complained to the front desk and truthfully they don't care. And of course the manager will be here in 10 minutes. Fun little fact, I was there in my car for well over 10 minutes longer trying to get my son McDonald's ordered on the app and no one ever came in the parking lot. No manager was coming. There was no offer of reducing the rate I had to pay or any type of I'm sorry. And breakfast, well there is a reason I had to go to McDonald's. There was no breakfast and even if there had been, as dirty as that place was I wouldn't have fed my son...
Read moreOh my. I am at a stage in life where I try to save money where I can, and not spend a lot for a hotel if it is just going to be a quick snooze. Luckily, I have been able to stay at a lot of "value" hotels, that have been good experiences. This one, however, was a mixed bag. ||Positives: The woman checking us in was very sweet. We slept soundly, the water in the shower was good pressure and hot, the internet worked well for basic work functions, and there was ESPN on the tv. Coffee was available at 5am.||Issues/Concerns/Warnings:||1. The first room we were given had a broken toilet. That room was also very small, and even shabbier than the second room. The chair had some sort of gross stain, and the bathroom was tiny, grubby, and the shower rod had a piece of cardboard as a "shimmy". We were moved to a second room, across the hall, quickly. This room was much bigger, and had a darker chair that hid the stains better. The chair was probably from the 70's so gosh only knows what stories it could tell! The rooms are freshly painted, but furniture beat up.||I am not sure why you would give us a tiny room when a bigger one was open? ||2. Pillows--three very odd square, and hard. ||3. The lobby smelled bad-- like mothballs. It was not as bad in the morning. The lobby serves as the breakfast room and was dirty. YUCK! Even though there was someone on staff that could have done a wipedown and a sweep. There was no hot water for the oatmeal, but I took it upstairs and made hot water in...
Read moreHaving worked in the hotel industry for 30+ years, I'd have to say this was one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed at. The only items that were "cleaned" between myself and the last guest was the garbage cans. The toilet seat was up with urine around the rim and all over the floor. My shoes (luckily I still had them on) stuck to the bathroom floor. The bathroom vanity had small hairs from someone shaving all over it along with hair product both on top and in the sink. I wiped the floor (I could not stand sticking to it) and the black hand print left on the towel after wiping it was the proof the floor hadn't been cleaned in months. After thinking about all of that, I went to the bed and pulled the stained covers back and found the sheets dirty. Debris down by the foot area and stains. Hairs on the pillow cases. It was clear that this room had it's garbage cans changed and new soap put in the bathroom and that was it. Outside the window overlooking the freeway entrance ramp I could see about 75 clumps of dog $hit. Apparently this is a dog friendly hotel whose humans clearly do not think picking up their dogs crap is part of the job nor were there signs or garbage cans if they did do this. I would strongly urge you not to stay at this hotel as it's clear they don't clean the rooms between guests, inspect the rooms and care about the...
