Subway — Restaurant in Abilene

Please consider this feedback and hopefully you will improve your service. I went to the drive thru and pushed the button by the speaker. I wanted to place my order by speaking it. No employees would answer, so I used the touchscreen thingy, I'm not a fan of these. I ordered my sandwich and selected no thank you for condiments. I pulled up to the window and waited about 10 minutes. Not fast but maybe they were busy? I couldn't tell because they closed the window and it has mirrored tint on it, so you can't see the employees. I think that is strange. A girl opened the window and I asked her if the sandwich had any condiments on it. She said it had mayo, and that I selected this. I told her I picked no thanks to condiments. She said she could take it off. She showed me the receipt with mayo on it. Closing the window, she disappeared inside for about 7 minutes. When she returned she handed me the sandwich. I had to ask for my change. She said, ya I was getting it. She never gave me the receipt! How do I know if even recieved the correct change? When I got home, I went to eat my sandwich and she had removed the lettuce, tomatoes and the onions. What gives? Why didn't she just answer the speaker and take my order correctly in the first place? I would not go to the drive...

I am truly wowed by this Subway location. As a Subway lover I understand that there is often trouble with the hustle and bustle of the lunch rush as there are usually only two employees in the store at one time. I will say there was a line to the door throughout the entire time I was ordering and ate my food, however the employees were able to keep up and keep the line moving at a reasonable rate. They were still kind and respectful while also being efficient at their jobs which I can respect. Notably one sandwich artist seemed to know several customers by name which I think really increases the quality of the meal. Do note they do not have the veggie pattie at this location if you are from out of town as I am. I don’t see it as much of an issue because most smaller towns don’t yet. Their washrooms were noticeably clean when as well as the rest of the restaurant. So I understand short staffed and I am a polite person but when you have to take a full day to calm down before commenting! Yesterday around 6 pm I went to the deive through , only car there ordered 1 sandwich 1 protein bowl almost 30 dollors. The lady at the window was so rude and short no comment to thank you almost threw what little change I fot back at me slammed tje window. I waited 27 minutes for the food again that was tossed out the window with a slam of the window. Mind you I live 30 minutes from there had just worked a 13 hour shift and was getting dinner something quick and easy. Got home gave tje sandwich to my son and first off it wasn't even the correct sandwich and yes I checked tje receipt but the sandwich had nothing hardly on it. It looked like a five year old made it.
