The rooms here are spacious and well appointed for comfort including an area to get work done with an office chair. lighting is great and there are many outlets available for todays electronics. beds are clean and comfortable with extra pillows. toiletries supplied are the right size for a stay and if more is needed, the front desk can assist. the grounds are kept clean with plenty of parking. the 24hr spa and swimming pool and coffee bar is a very nice touch, especially for those that stay out late and want to relax after a long day. the lobby area is good sized with plenty of seating with a relaxing fireplace and a computer station for those that need it. Staff are friendly, check in and out is simple. the breakfast room is good sized with plenty of tables and chairs and the breakfast offered is one of the better ones I've seen with a very wide array of breakfast choices to please all ages. It is maintained by a highly competent worker named Steven who is very cordial and conscientious about keeping the whole serving line clean and stocked with items along with keeping the dining room clean and sanitized, which is of utmost importance for guests. The only drawback was seeing and hearing kids in the swimming pool and spa way past their allotted time period late at night and while some guests don't always adhere to simple rules, it doesn't make sense if staff doesn't enforce there hotels own policies, which isn't fair to the many other guests, who look forward to that quieter and relaxing time. Overall, this hotel is a very good value and it is located to many venues...
Read moreThis was our first time staying at Sleep Inn in Acme and we were very pleased overall after driving by and seeing it many times while staying at other area hotels in the past. Check in and out was easy. All staff were very courteous, friendly and professional. Our room decor was abit dated but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and yes the pillows are plentiful and comfy along with a quiet room. Plenty of Our room was located towards the back of the hotel so we have no idea what it may sound like in rooms closer to the highway out in front. The water pressure was very good tho the water has a funny odor and our toilet seat was loose. Parking is plentiful. The adult 24 hr pool and hot tub was a plus for us after a long evening out and we found the 24 hr coffee station a very good amenity. The grounds are well taken care of with lounge chairs out in front of the hotel to view the bay or watch traffic fly by and there is another enclosed outdoor patio in the back of the hotel which is more quiet. The breakfast area is managed by a young man who takes his job seriously. one can tell by the presentation and array of food available, ie. covered items, food not burned with great hot and cold selections for young and old. they even have both a waffle and pancake maker and the dining area is kept clean and organized. very impressive. The hotel is conveniently located off the busy highway, close to gas and food (there is a popular pizza place next door) and fit our needs. We would definitely return for a comfortable, quiet and relaxing stay when we're...
Read moreI arrived during a heavy snowstorm after driving for 3 hours. The lobby was so warm & welcoming with a beautiful fireplace, and the front desk attendant was very friendly. She showed me a diagram of the building and helpfully directed me to an entrance that was perfect for my room location. I was able to park very close. My room was just as pictured on the website, and was very clean & nice. I LOVE that the pool has 24-hr. availability and that there is 24-hr. coffee just off the lobby, and there were complimentary fresh baked cookies at the front desk. The pool & hot tub area was clean & nice. The bay is just across the street so there is a magnificent view and accessibility. The complimentary hot breakfast is just fantastic, and the young man attending it was very dedicated. In addition to waffles and pancakes that you make for yourself there was also scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon as well as sausage gravy & biscuits! Coffee, juice, fruit, yogurt, muffins, toast, and I’m sure cereal as well—I was beyond happy with all of the choices. The price of the room was reasonable—not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive either, and if you are a member of Choice Hotels, you can get a good rate. I am also a Moose member so I got the Moose International rate, too. This hotel isn’t super close to downtown TC, but not horribly far either, and it’s also close to Turtle Creek Casino if you like to gamble. I would definitely...
