I am a frequent customer of Quality Inn at this location. This is my second incident with this hotel. First one was about a month ago. I called for reservation, told I was all set up and to head that way. I arrived at 1 am with two of my employees a total of three rooms, was told I had no reservation! Then Quality Inns clerk set us up at their sister hotel, BIG MISTAKE!! It was nasty, to say the least. The AC was broken didnt work, we are nonsmokers and was in smoking rooms with nasty ashtray in them that stunk so bad and it was about 100 degrees in the room. The bed was damp, the chairs were cloth and damp, also the couch! My wife was complaining of bites, she slept in the truck all night. Now this time we set up the reservation at Adarisville Quality Inn, had a reservation for 9-14-17. We arrived at 11pm and was told they only had one room left and we called at 2:30pm and had a confirmation. We were put in Room 213, advising you not to get that room!! I was woke up at 4 am with bug bites, got my flash light and I had bedbugs in my bed and bites on my back face, and fingers. We grabbed our stuff and left the room, checked out and my wife told the clerk that told her she would tell the manager Vicky. We never got a follow up call, so my wife called Vicky, and she was on the defense. I was not asking for a refund, I was merely reporting the horrible night and for them to take an aggressive approach to fix the problem. Vicky tells my wife they have no bedbugs! Then all in the same breath said a lady had called back a few weeks ago reporting the same thing, she had bug bites, but they didn't believe her because she waited 7 days to report the problem. I explained there were many bugs I killed and what they looked like and where you could find them! Vicky said they have an exterminator once a week that gives them a clean bill of health for their rooms, obvisously not room 213, and he isn't checking everything, it just doesn't add up! If I had bites and killed the bugs and left evidence on the sheet and I reported it, and wasn't asking for compensation, then I have nothing to gain! However I'm writing this review to warn anyone else before they encounter a sleepless night and become as...
Read moreWe stood here overnight on our way back home to Illinois from Florida. We came here with our 3 kids. It was the only one that wasn’t booked near Chattanooga so we got this one. The place is decent... clean room with a free breakfast. No elevator... you have to walk up two flights of stairs if your room is on the second floor. The only Major complaint is that i was definitely being racially profiled and stereo typed... we are a Hispanic family. In the morning, my husband and I were getting our truck ready when these two Indian cleaning people... man and a woman... were walking down the walkway to clean rooms. They kept on giving us mean looks and staring us down like we were going to rob the place! They even started to separate and walk around our car... looking like they were trying to look in our car. We got very uncomfortable so we went back to our room to organize a bit... wishing they would leave before we came back outside. Nope... we went back outside and they were standing in front of our car! When they saw us, they walked away. Now it was starting to get really creepy.... we took our kids in the car and the two Indian people we were “pretending “ to walk around the building but kept on looking at us and my kids with mean looks and staring us down. My husband was putting tire pressure in the car when I noticed the Indian man go behind our car... I didn’t see him pass though... I was like “okkkkk”. I took a step back and saw him literally looking into our car... I don’t know why... there was no purpose at all. When he saw me looking, he walked fast out and around the building. I don’t appreciate being racially profiled and to be treated like I was some sort of alien from another planet. Please tell your cleaning people to mind their own business and stop racially profiling people... this is the 21st century... like you guys haven’t seen a Hispanic family before. We felt very uncomfortable and this is why we did not go to the free breakfast. We felt very unwelcome. this is why I am giving this a 2 star because it’s pathetic how people can be so racist for no reason, especially to a couple...
Read moreUpon checking in after a long day on the road was greeted by a man who sounded quite ill (coughing a lot). Gave the check in lady my name, she had me initial and sign a paper which was fine but one of them that i initialed was stating that I did not have a pet. I told her that I did indeed have a pet (yorkie). She said that they have to give us a "different room". Well travelers beware if you have a pet, you might want to find a different hotel! As soon as we entered the room it smelled like urine and the carpet was stained horribly (looked to be pet stains). The chairs were also stained the the room itself as far as color and bed skirt extremely outdated! I went to the front desk and complained, the man that had the cough told me he would open the room beside it to see if that was more acceptable to me. The carpet was still stained (pet stains) as bad. The colors were still horrible but the odor was not as bad. He said it was probably the deodorizer because the carpets were just dry cleaned the day before. He said the stains were from the Georgia clay ground. Well I know a pet stain when I see one or in this case, several. At this point we were so exhausted that I just said fine, we'll take it. I kept my shoes on the entire time other then sleeping of course and I did not allow my yorkie to even walk on the carpet. On a good note, the front desk lady in the morning was very sweet, clearly southern hospitality. The breakfast was good and they did have...
