Very poor customer service. My mother and I both ordered the ribeye steak and eggs. Her eggs are scrambled and mine were over medium but more to the over well side. We both ordered our steaks medium and received them close to well done. When I finally saw our server again and she asked if everything was okay I told her no that my steak was overcooked and she walked away and returned with the bill with $9 taking off. She never asked if I would like it recooked. I asked for a small box to take the remainder of the steak home and was told I was not allowed to and if I wanted to she would have to charge me full price. I told her no that was not right I would like to take my steak home even though it was overcooked and she took the bill away and came back with a new amount only charging us for the eggs and pancakes so that we were not able to take the steaks home. After much argument with the cook and the server, the cook came back to our table and said they were going to remake the steaks. This was a good 30-45 minutes after we got our food the first time. We told them that we did not want the steaks remade because we were ready to leave at this point and not happy with the way the service was done. They then brought us another bill a third one and it was the full price of the food with no discounts. At this point we told them that we weren't going to pay for anything because we were not getting the service or the food that we originally ordered and we're not satisfied. The cook then brings out two steaks that she had remade and at this point we were allowed to take those home after having been in the restaurant for an hour and a half. They took care of the bill and said have a good day and they were just having a bad and off day. When I first told the server of the mistake on my food instead of walking away she should have asked if I wanted it remade and taken it back to the kitchen to fix the mistake not walk off and come back with a discount that we did not ask for. All I wanted out of the experience of coming here was to have my food cooked properly and a good atmosphere. None of which I received. I do have to say the pancakes were good, the eggs were overcooked and had bits of eggshell but I was willing to overlook that if my steak had been properly cooked. I will give them a second chance in the future and hopefully it will be a...
Read moreToday I had the most ackward experience ever at any mexican restaurant I've ever been to. While, trying to unwind and have a cold beer with some good mexican food, or so I hoped, I asked the waiter/owner if the grilled beef fajitas was actually the real fajitas (arrachera) or was it some random beef that some other restaurants sell wich, don't taste anything like the real arrachera fajitas and he said YES WE SELL NOTHING BUT THE REAL STUFF. I said ok bring me some fajitas then. He gets back with the food and I taste it and right away I knew they were not the real stuff and I told him just that. He said THEY ARE TYE REAL thing. I said I know what the real ones taste like. I'm from texas. Then he asked if I wanted to replace them with something else and I said sure, I'll take a new york stake instead or what kind of stakes do you have. I guess he got offended by that and said to just pay for the beer and leave. And took the food off the table And said to not ever come back. I said ok fine but you shouldn't treat people like that. I said you know, the google reviews? At that point he just lost it. Got on my face and started yelling, cursing and threatening to call the cops on me and tell them that I didn't want to pay my bill. He was just trying to intimidate me into paying for everything because when I said give me the bill and I'll pay for it, they handed me the bill but they were charging me for all the food I did not eat and refused to bring it back or take it off the bill. I said why I'm I going to pay for some food you took away from my table. I said go ahead and call the police. I'm not going anywhere. Officers came in and asked what was going on and when I explained to them what had happend he changed the tune and now he said I had already paid for the beer and all they wanted was for me to leave and not to come back. Wird as hell! He did not have to call the police for me to not ever come to a place where they sell fake fajitas and treat their own people like second...

I got 2 carne asada tacos and 10 wings. For the wings I got 2 different flavors, sweet chili and death (their hottest sauce). The wings were kinda small IMO. They were a bit bigger than Zaxby's wings, but you can get bigger wings elsewhere. The flavors on the other hand were good. I didn't find the death sauce worthy of the name, but my Hispanic wife found them to be too hot for her. The sweet chili had a good flavor and she enjoyed them better. The tacos...weren't too bad. The flavor was good. Only complaints I'd have on the tacos would be that the tortillas were just a little too thick (even though they did hold up well while eating) and that they only gave a red sauce versus a red and green. The salsa also could use a bit more spice to it. Limes would be great to add to it...maybe they just forgot mine? The rice and beans had a decent flavor, but didn't really have that good true flavor and was closer to the Ameri-Mex places. They did have a few people dine-in, but had several pick-up orders while I was there. Guessing that's why it took about 20 mins to get our order. This is the closest thing that Adairsville has to authentic Mexican food. If passing through the area, I'd choose Vickos over the other "Mexican" food restaurants here. Even more so since they are Ameri-Mex. They do not offer a...
