Our family of four stayed in this cabin near Denali. At about 15 minutes from the park, it just right for our family of 4. Our children are small, so that probably made it easier, but if it was 4 adults, there was still plenty of room to spread out. The place was very clean and was on the new side, so things were nice and functioning. The kitchen wasn't huge, but was very well stocked with equipment and utensils for a group of 4. No dishwasher, but wasn't really needed if you kept things simple. There was no TV, which was nice to get away from technology and focus on what you're there for, Denali! There was one downside which was that you were near the main road, so you would often get loud trucks/semis driving on there and hear it. But, the location of being conveniently located near a store, restaurant and the park were vastly more important. If we were to do it again, we would definitely stay here the entire time rather than split it up like we did at the Princess Lodge, which was...
Read moreIt was wonderful staying at Denali Wild Stay. We stayed in the Moose Cabin and it was pretty perfect for our small family getaway. As someone who stays in a ton of hotels and air bnb’s for work travel, I always say the small details count the most. The communication was fantastic and we appreciated all the notes, suggestions, guides, bug spray, sunscreen, etc (even down to the high quality toilet paper). As someone that grew up in Fairbanks, and now lives in San Diego, this place was just what we needed for our short family getaway to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from UAF. The location is so perfect for convenience to a grocery store and all day adventures to Denali National Park. We made a lot of core memories here and cannot wait to stay here again in the future. Thank you, Yvonne and Kevin for making it such a...
Read moreMy family and I stayed in the Muskrat Cabin and it was a very cozy and beautiful cabin. Everyone loved the decor, especially the bear on the wall and the setup inside. They had a full kitchen with all you'd need to cook a meal for everyone. Speaking on the inside, the bathroom is tight, but they utilized the space well. Also, the toilet paper is easily accessible and you don't have to awkwardly turn around or contort your body to get to it. The 49th State and the grocery store are less than a 1/4mi away from the cabin. There at lots of turn offs to take nice photos on your way to Denali which is about a 30min drive from the cabin. Overall, it was a great stay and we're hoping to get the Bear Cabin next time we stay (it's...
