I enjoyed my multi-night stay here. There was an older lady that was very....lets say, eccentric. I remember her being very passionate and particular about payment issues. The younger lady seemed to have a better understanding of what customer service is and why it should sort of be a thing when you're running a lodge. I didn't have any problems with my room. You have to set reasonable expectations. If you're older, wealthier, and want a 4-star experience...this probably isn't the place for you. But I give it 4-stars based on my reasonable expectations of what I was paying for. Having a restaurant so close is convenient, although I only ate there once. At night it seems to be a very popular spot but I don't drink and so it just wasn't really my scene. So the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because customer service could be improved a bit. But just don't go in blazing with the "the customer is always right" attitude and if you have any issues, try to win friends with honey instead of vinegar and you'll probably have a great...

We were fortunate to find a hotel with a room available in August, but we were very disappointed. The room was in the old building, so I expected it to be a little under par. However, it was very disappointing. The sheets were soiled. It seemed obvious that they had not been changed after the previous guests stayed in the room. I called the front desk to ask about getting clean sheets, but I was told that the housekeeping staff was gone for the day, but they would try to call someone to get us clean bedding. After waiting for more than 30 minutes, we decided to just use the sleeping bags we had in our vehicle, so I told the front desk person not to call someone in. (It seemed like nobody was called because the person said okay and did not provide a status of the person called.) In addition, the front desk person did not seem to care that the bedding was not clean; no apology was offered. I doubt I would ever stay at this...

Visited in late October when everything else was closed. Stumbled upon this place with my wife and we grabbed some burgers. Mine was a Chili burger and hers was a plain cheeseburger, both we would rate an 8/10, definitely better than what we expected. I liked the fries, and although my wife was ify about them, she still ate half of the portion. We would have given 4 stars for just the food, but went to 5 because of the service. It looks like only one server on duty, and there were 3 tables she had to wait on when we got in, making us 4, and she made sure we didn't get neglected by talking about what to do in this area but also gave us space to enjoy. She even used the first names of some of the other people, which we guessed were regulars. We...

I didn’t actually stay in the hotel but I did have dinner with friends at the pub. The bartender was really friendly and informative letting us know all about local beers to try. We had a great time and when we left I accidentally forgot my digital camera. I left the next day and wasn’t able to make contact with anyone in the pub because it was closed until the afternoon. I flew back to Canada and called the Totem Inn and they were so so helpful. I spoke with a woman named Lisa who sorted the whole things for me. She shipped my camera free of charge and was so kind through the whole stressful process. Thank you so much Lisa.

Wow what a great way to feel part of this majestic land without having to leave the comforts like USB chargers and smart tv's if you want. Easy 2 min or less walk to the onsite pub/restraunt or local food and liquor store across the street. No AC but great fans in every rooms for the rare warmer days. Windows open wide and amazing courtyard with trek deck walkways and gazebo area with beautiful mountains in the background. Free laundry machines and ice/hot water dispensers in the beautifully decorated lobbies. Very nice exercise room as well.
