We had a wonderful stay at the Epochary Inn. The owners had every comfort satisfied, and were always available for questions or requests. They know the area well and had great recommendations for coffee and lunch. We loved the Old Crow Coffee, and the tea house especially. huge selection of teas, antique tea pot and cups/saucers to linger over, and lovely chicken salad sandwich. The dinner we ordered at the inn (ricotta shells with cashews and a homemade sauce) was delicious, as was the vegan bread. Our room (Suite Paradiso) was luxurious. It was lovely to stay inside a bit more when it rained one of the days, with big windows looking in all directions, a cozy fireplace, faux candlesticks in the windows. We really enjoyed the fireplace and soaks in the antique tub. The canopy bed was beautiful and comfy. The closet is huge so you can unpack and feel settled. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The house is one of the historic homes of Old Economy, very carefully restored and tastefully decorated with lovely antiques. It is right between George Rapp House and the museum, so you can walk. The shop alongside the hotel had lots of cute vintage pieces. Old Economy itself is fascinating. We did the ghost tour as well and had a blast being in the historic buildings after dark. All around one of our favorite places to stay (and we’ve traveled all over the world). We plan to be back! Don’t hesitate to book your stay at Epochary Inn....

Plenty of complimentary snacks and beverages both hot and cold await you in the common room just outside.
The hosts are very polite and grateful for your patronage. They told me that the Inn and surrounding area were originally the site of a utopian society. Fascinating history.
Very pretty neighborhood and plenty of...
