Americas Best Value Inn Arlington — Hotel in Arlington

I needed a hotel in the DFW area since my sister and I were traveling for a concert and we didn't want to drive back the same night. This was sufficient, but it did not meet my expectations. What I mean was, I specifically sought out a hotel or motel that was reviewed as 4 out of 5 stars so when I gave this place a shot, I expected the reality to match-up with the overall 4/5 status... and just upon walking in, it looks like I had the right idea, but set the bar too low in terms of how much we wanted to budget towards the hotel (photo included). There was only one trash can and it was a small one in the bathroom, the bathroom was cramped, there was no bathmat in there and the Wi-Fi was pretty spotty... That being said, the AC worked well, there was at least a microwave, the bedding was adequate and they surprisingly had cable- although I'm certain that my sister and I would have both preferred if they just had a Roku or something. I rarely travel so this was certainly a lesson learned - do more research on accommodations & be willing to spend more next time. My limited interactions w/ the staff were fine, even if they were a little hard to understand; to their credit, I was able to check-in a little early and check-out when...

Honestly, this small motel is a hidden gem. The beds are super comfy and they have awesome tv channels! It is quiet and the motel appears to be clean. The room we stayed in was huge.~ That being said... The people who own/ operate/ employees, whoever they are... RUDE. TACTLESS. LIARS. The man claimed that I had a pet in the room and that it shed so much hair it took them three days to clean it... lol... that is absurd.

Just admit you wanted to keep my deposit of $75. ??

I could say some things about Your establishment that would most definitely cost you business/ profits ... however , You people more than likely have no problem doing that all by yourselves.

My very small toy shitzu/ chihuahua would be more than bald if there was that much of her hair in that room... and considering she had just been groomed for summer . Her hair is barely...

The manager was very accommodating. He allowed me to look at the room prior to booking. This hotel appears to have been recently updated/ remodeled. All was well until I did a further examination of the room. I am not one to EVER go barefooted but I had left my flip flops in the van. I was. I was exhausted and took my tennis shoes off. Thus, I discovered all too soon that initial glances can be deceptive. I was disgusted at what I found on the sole of my feet. Thus, I began to look around even more closely and was somewhat appalled at what I discovered. I attempted to use a bath towel to clean the floor, as you will see. Whatever he's paying his cleaning crew, he is paying them far too much!!! Oh, and you must disregard the false advertising on booking.com. They have no breakfast, and actually, they have no coffee pot...
