Iâm really disappointed with my stay at this hotel.
Location: Itâs misleading. Itâs not walking distance to The Domain. No valet service Overpriced: $1,100 for two nights?! I couldâve stayed downtown for four nights with valet AND a better location! Bar hours: On a Friday night, the bar closed early at 11:15 PM. What a disappointment! Then the female bartender said on Saturday night I might close today at 10:30?!? Dish soap missing: How is there a dishwasher with no soap? Thereâs dishes and no soap. Makes no sense. Lack of dining information: No restaurant menu available at all! No QR code, no printed options⌠nothing. Confusing ordering process with the restraunt: Two different menus online and in restraunt? No room service: I hit the button on the phone that said room service but was told they donât deliver to rooms. Whatâs the point of an in-room dining button then? đ housekeeping: They barely cleaned my room. They didnât restock robes, or coffee area, and left all the trash in the kitchen trashcan. I have pics to show how disappointed I was. -tried to turn on the stove and couldnât. Once again, there was no guide and also the pan was dirty with food. I got the best room available! This is what I got. Once again I took photos to document. -Once you got on the elevator and walked into the floor (room 412) the hallway smelled like pickle. I went to the gym and there was no water in the water gallon machines. WOW, shocker. At this point that is what excepted. -I even emailed the manager and of course . I never heard back. I have a copy of that too. -I asked for restock through text and had to remind them - 4 hours later they responded. I have that info as well. For $1,100, this was a TOTAL rip-off. I expected way more for that price and should get at least a partial refund or credit for this unacceptable experience. Absolutely wonât be returning!
The one downtown is amazing!!!!!
This one was a waste of money and time. I wanted to work with them and give suggestions or feedback but I didnât even get a response from them. So yea, I will be leaving a review on Google also because this was just wrong and robbery.
They need to check out the one downtown so that they can learn a thing or too.
Never again. Robbery....
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at the Cambria hotel. I have been a loyal guest at Cambria hotels across the country and have always enjoyed my stays until my recent visit at your location.
Upon my arrival yesterday around 6:30 PM, I encountered a series of unfortunate events that made this the worst experience I have ever had. The front desk worker, Tayler, demonstrated zero customer service skills and lacked sympathy. Her attitude, including eye-rolling, was unprofessional and unwelcoming.
Although I had booked through a third-party service, there was an issue with my reservation. I appreciate the assistance provided by the Expedia representative and the friendly service I received from Fred, the bartender. However, Tayler's handling of the situation was unacceptable. Her delay in inputting my information into the system, combined with her dismissive attitude and lack of accountability, left a lasting negative impression. After Expedia called her within 20 minutes of my arrival and resolved the issue, I still had to wait nearly 3 hours for her to input my information.
Furthermore, I observed Tayler spending time on Instagram while I was waiting for assistance, which is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of exceptional customer service, especially in a front desk position. If Tayler is a full-time employee, I am concerned that her behavior will drive customers away and tarnish the reputation of your establishment.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to see improvements in the service provided at your establishment in the...
Read moreThree weeks ago, my boyfriend and I stayed at this Cambria Hotel for a getawayâit was our first time ever staying at a Cambria. Unfortunately, it will also be our last.
Nearly two hours after checking in, someone walked into our room while we were both naked. I was too shocked to react, but my boyfriend got up to check the door and saw someone in civilian clothes walking down the hall. We were completely confused because there was absolutely no reason for anyone to have access to our room after we had checked in. Not only is this a major security issue, but it also raises serious concerns about why people are able to enter occupied rooms without permission.
After getting dressed, I went to the lobbyâshaking and on the verge of tearsâto report what had happened. The manager mentioned escalating it to the district manager but only offered us a discount if we ordered something from the bar. I felt insulted, violated, and completely on edge.
The next morning, we were offered breakfast vouchers (which we did not take), but after stepping out for the day, we decided to check out early and cut our trip short. This was my first time staying overnight in Austin, and I was looking forward to itâonly for this incident to ruin the experience.
To this day, I have not heard anything from management regarding how this was handled. This lack of accountability and disregard for guest safety has ensured that I will never stay at a Cambria...
