I am so conflicted about how to review this place. It is a local inn in a small town, so I’m not expecting much. It’s probably one of the better ones in the area. So here it goes: Pros: - room was clean - laundry and dryer on site ($2 quarters for each) - small clean gym with 2 treadmills and a bike. - hot tub/jacuzzi was working (hubby enjoyed it) - location: some good restaurants and fast food near by (try local restaurant Rachel’s: a very nice and high quality restaurant. The best in miiiiiles) - decent front desk service - many outlets for plugs and USB! - warming lamp in bathroom - defogging mirror - free breakfast and coffee. - trolly available for luggage transport Cons: - they had construction that they said would go till 6 but continued past 7. There was banging and loud noise. Gave me a headache - no elevator, no frills, small tv very basic rooms and hotel. - tub was old and rusty. I hope the renovations transform this place. It has potential - limited and unappetizing breakfast - light on desk was very finicky and hard to keep on

Very pleased with the room and customer service! There was no line at the counter and was helped as soon as I walked up. The room was clean and well maintained. Only thing, be cautious when taking a shower, almost slipped a couple of times. The pads on the bottom of the tub have some wear n tear on them and starting to lose their grip. When checking in, the concierge had told me that some remodeling is planned for the near future, so that's always a plus. Was very happy with the pricing, paid like $132(taxes included) for a Friday night. If correct, pricing is cheaper during the week! There is an inside swimming pool to enjoy as well as a restaurant/bar attached to the hotel with fair pricing!

Everything was great up until I asked the front desk for more towels. I was told that they didn’t have anymore.. I paid for two nights, and didn’t receive housekeeping on the first day because I had the do not disturb sign on the door, so I asked for more towels. We brought our own soaps thank god because I would’ve probably been told they had none of that as well. The chairs in the room were very dusty and left marks on my sweatshirt. I stayed Friday February 28-Sunday March 1, 2020. Please, tell me again I didn’t stay here. I have 3 witnesses that tell otherwise. Just because my profile is a different location.. I am from Huron County... 🙄

We stayed here 3/31/22 - 4/3/22. Thursday evening we noticed the place was rather dirty. Bathtub had something on the bottom of it that was unknown what it was. The beds were very uncomfortable and my better half kept scraping her leg on some board that was sticking out of the bed. Coffee was the worst we have ever tasted and the breakfast food was old and all the bagels and muffins were very hard and dry.||||Friday we were both trying to work but the noise from people going in and out of the pool area made it impossible to concentrate. I called 3 times to the front desk but the noise continued. Saturday evening we were trying to get some rest but the neighbors were drunk, then loud, then screaming at each other at 2:30 in the morning. I called and complained but they continued on. Once we were able to get to sleep they were up having sex so basically no sleep.||||I asked on Friday when all of the noise were taking place for a refund. Was told no and would have to speak with a manager. That never happened so when we got back to our hometown I called and asked to speak to a manager. Was told there was not a manager there but would relay the message. ||||The following day I got a call back from Amanda Marks. In speaking with her she claimed I never called but once and the issue was handled. So calling a paying customer a liar is not very good customer service. I asked for a refund due to this hassle and was told I would not be getting a refund but a discount. Well my discount hit my bank account with a whole 20 dollars deposited. ||||I hope this report helps other paying customers so they don't have to deal with this hassle. So if you want a poor maintained hotel, non existant customer service and management that clearly could care less then be our guest. Will never step foot in that garbage...

Stayed here for a funeral. Booking the room was straightforward and easy.. The parking lot is okay but poorly lit. It is not a smooth lot. It creates puddles after a significant rain. It will likely have ice patches in the winter.|The entrance does have an automatic door, but only if you hit the button at the side of the rail. The hotel does not look like it has been updated in decades. This is worn and dirty furniture, and well well-worn carpet.||If you have mobility issues, do not take a room on the second floor as there is no elevator.|Room 201 is at the corner of two stairways, and some of the hallway traffic can be heard in the room. There were a few light switches that did not seem to do anything.||The bathroom opens right into the bed area of the room. The light switch for the bathroom is in the bedroom area. As a result, the door must be opened with the light on, which floods the room with light for any guest trying to sleep. The heat lamp in the bathroom did not work, and hung low and was easy to move around; it looked unsafe. The small vent in the bathroom was caked with dust and other mystery items/ The vent is above the toilet so the petri dish of stuff could drop down onto you.||The air conditioner has a loud wind-up when it first starts up. It also cycled frequently through the night. The constant change in sould levels disrupted sleep.||We passed on the breakfast. We saw the syrup was left out with the lid open overnight. |. |The staff did not engage us very much during check-in and...

As someone who rarely ever feels the need to leave a review, this is the exception; I have to say that this was by far the worst hotel/motel stay in my life.

I stayed here over the fourth of July weekend with my girlfriend to visit friends and we had an awful experience. We only got the hotel because we needed a place to sleep, and the only thing we didn't get was any sleep at all.

The room was fairly dirty, but honestly not the worst I've seen. The major issues we had was that our room immediately REEKED of cigarette smoke to the point that it was very uncomfortable. When I spoke to the staff about it, they were out of other rooms and the best they could do was offer a can of air freshener and promised they wouldn't bill us EXTRA for the smoke smell....

We also ended up with a bathroom sink that would periodically not drain at all, so we had to use our sink as little as possible.

The next morning, we brought up the room smell again and were offered no discount or anything on our horrible room, and we agreed that we would have been better of driving 3 hours home at 1am then staying there.

Between the services lack of help or consideration, and the unclean, horrible smelling room, I'd try and stay anywhere...
